Romeo Pro is designed for riders who want adventurous and long-lasting cycling. This 48V e-bike battery is made by EV-class safety standards with a 60Ah capacity. With this e-bike, you can ride for longer distances and never have to worry about running out of power. This moped-style designed frame is crafted from high-quality carbon steel and has exceptional traction and handling. After-market ...
Warning those those considering to buy an eahora buy in 2024. Do NOT do it. many customers including us are having motor and delivery issues. Eahora customer service is also useless they won't help.
Romeo pro 2 ,Bike is garbage both my motor s not working customer service is horrible don’t want to return the new bike want me to fix on new bike both front and rear motors and controllers and hall sensor ridiculous
Very nice ride. Just purchased 2024 Romeo Pro (first e bike) and would like to install the MEACHOW Bar End Bike Mirrors. The handle bar has a metal cap on each end with a hex screw in the center. I unscrewed the hex screw but could not easily remove the end cap and didn’t want to damage the bike. Did you have a similar issue? They are constantly making changes but I am not sure if I should force it off. Your help is appreciated.
any idea what speed magnetic and boost sensity does in the settings if changing the values ?
Very cool and strong bike, but it is sad that it can not hold a 2nd rider for that price !!!
Hello bro. And you can drive like that on the street. Isn’t it illegal?
I really like your mirrors, could you give me the link to buy them.
I also have a Romeopro electric bike, which is on sale!
I also have a Romeopro electric bike, which is on sale!
Its been 5 months. Hows the romeo now? Can you do an update review on it. I have yet to see a 1000+ mile review on this e-bike
Have you seen the aniiokie aq177 Pro? The Romeo Pro looks better, but I think the aniiokie can get more mileage.
What mirrors ya have?
I got mine direct from Eahora in California instead of a third party so mine is brand new: also the damage a few are speaking off is from the logistics company being very careless so then I added a detailed set of instructions for my order which is "Fragile package contents must always be shipped with the product image logo facing up" The pro can achieve 42 MPH flat ground without wind resistance. Running flat ground all the time with a speed of 20 Mph with pedaling near 200 miles 133 with throttle only after using the pedals to get the bike moving then switch to throttle only. This is with a 175 Pound rider with a 25 pound of extra cargo. The step down model worked out to be about Top speed = 38 Mph : Average speed 20 Mph results are Pedal Assist 204 Miles Throttle only 142 Miles. Note this is all on flat ground without a lot of wind. I am working on a few cosmetic mod to upgrade the bike to be more weather worthy for that just in case the sky drops out on me moment. This bike is water resistant not water proof so then a few mods like battery cover and front frame cover for the battery with running cable area is greatly advised. There are many after market upgrades for the suspension system. The rear fork chassis bolt can be upgraded to a better model with a sealed bearing. The manual states to oil the motor however I am unable to locate where the oil is added to the motor in addition to what type of oil to use. Electric motors require a specific type of oil so then you can not use any type of grease and oil for other purposes. I will post a full disclosure on my channel for everyone to look at so you can see everything about this bike: This bike have a wide range of potential for after market upgrading so I will show in the videos what is in this bike technical and specification details. Motor type model and specifications. Crank system details suspension system length and what can be used as an upgrade. Compatible rear rack cargo setups. thank you everyone for sharing your eahora bike online with the internet; have fun!
How did you unlock the bike to achieve 40mph?
Excuse me, but I don’t think it will reach 40 miles per hour. I think your comment should be a lie because mine is the pro and it barely reaches 33 miles per hour. And I weigh 170 pounds only.
Finally my refusal to accept those negative reviews is paying off. Thanks
Have you done a (realistic) range test? Also how’re the off road capabilities?
Just got the Black Pro, front fork broken completely at fender mount, throttle broken, scratched, and different shifter.
Sweet bike bub....😮. In NH and looking at these HARD!
Whats the top speed u with out pedal assit
Hows the speed ? And how is it still holding up for you ?
60 километров в час
wow what a letdown
I’m getting one but what’s the difference between the pro and the standard one
1000w motor vs 1200w motor
Can it hold just under 400 lbs person
Yes
To give you a rough idea. I am 255 lbs. My gf is 160. She rode on the rack part while the bike just hauled it on the juliet, still hit 25 mph out of the designated 28-31 mph. It's a beast of a bike. I think the battery range is a bit offputting for us heavier ppl though it's stated 100-130 miles but obviously our weight and terrain will play a factor. Mine on PAS 5 dropped to about 3 bars after only 20ish miles on throttle only. Still this is a major upgrade from my old Jasion ebike.
Nice looking bike sketchy asf bike company....not UL certified battery pack no transparency about where the cells for the battery came from. I talked to the musk guy via email and wasn't able to communicate very well. No way to reach any customer service besides emailing this one person... good luck hopefully you don't have a ticking timb bomb of a battery.
When these bikes are new out of the box, do they need "unlocking"? I'm looking at the Romeo Pro. This one did OK with top speed considering it's just one 1250 watt motor. Thanks for the video.
This bike comes unlocked.
@@Fasting-4-Life Thank you for the reply. I noticed in your short, walkaround video, there was a mark where the rear fender has been hitting the seat mounted light. It's obvious there is very little clearance between the light and the rear wheel. How does the suspension work with such a short travel? Love the look of this bike and the battery, but the suspension has to work. Probably not an issue for riding on the streets, but I can see it IS hitting on your bike. What do you think?
This is slow. My g062 motor which is 1000w nominal goes faster. 60a should push it to 35mph at least.
@@500wattz@500wattz I can honestly say I've gotten my bike up to 35 mph, but it's inconsistent.
@@savagemako17 What a keen eye for detail you have! You are correct! This is why I am upgrading to an air shock, the original one is a joke!
Cool, but it's unfortunately as illegal as F****, (we need better laws for Ebike circumstances when they're are no safe bike paths and we can't safely stay at the edge of the road, but must keep up with traffic without the threat of being arrested or having our Ebikes confiscated)
Are the brakes good, is it easy to stop, have you had any issues?
How does it compare to the Juliet?
What’s your height? I’m 6’2 wondering how I’d fit in that
I'm 5'10".
What front bag is that? I'm having trouble finding one with straps long enough to fit around this bike.
ROCKBROS Bike Bag Phone Mount Bag. I had to do a little modification by adding a bungee to get it stay put. Unfortunately, I haven't found a bag to fit this bike because how the battery is mounted.
@@Fasting-4-Life Thanks man. That's what I was thinking, I'll have to rig it up somehow.
Howdid you get one so soon? It says not shipping until Aug, youre in mich?
This isn't the "pro" ... It's just the regular 'Romeo'
@@DBSMODscorrect pro not out yet
Just got mine. Plagued with issues. I think I got a used one because the odometer reads 0.7miles and average speed 18mph so someone used it before me. I don't mind quality control and testing but the shimano gear shifter arrived severely cracked unfortunately too so there clearly wasn't much quality control. Perhaps this is a display model or previous return from another unsatisfied customer? Also the headlight does not turn off, is this normal? If so, why? Refund or Exchange? Ps. Any idea why speed limit says 25.1mph? Thanks for your videos!
@grandtheftaliens Sorry to read that you received a bad bike. Have you reached out to customer support? I had an issue with the speedometer. I was instructed to change the speed sensitivity to "6" and that worked. This maybe an understatement, but I'll say it anyway. Take plenty of pictures of the defective parts!
Great video, i have a question. Lets say im going 28 to 30 mph constantly on full throttle. Do you think this can get me 35 miles? Or would I have to go lower speed to ensure more miles
@cecilioV2 If you're on PAS 1, 2, or 3, using throttle only, I'd say yes! PAS 4 and 5 throttle only, no. Also, you need to factor in body weight and hilly roads.
@MisterE-biker I'm 150 pounds and it's pretty much flat roads. So how fast could I go and reach 35 to 40 miles on throttle??
Like 25 mph?
@cecilioV2 On the Eahora website, they claim you can go 70 - 76 miles on throttle-only mode and you can get 104 - 112 miles on PAS mode. Two days ago, I did a 3 hour 60-mile trip. When I was done I had roughly 36% to 40% battery remaining. I believe I could've traveled another 15 to 20 miles more. I also forgot to mention that I weigh 250 pounds. So for you, because you're much smaller than me, you could probably travel farther.
@@Fasting-4-Life yeah, and younger. How fast on average were you going?
I got one two weeks ago ride it from Naples high school to Marco island 5 days a week 50 miles a day on level 3 no peddling it is the perfect bike I'm getting another one for backup or riding with a friend
@danwingate7234 Yeah I couldn't agree with you more! This bike is amazing and has crazy range, too! Congrats on getting your new Romeo Pro and happy riding!
Did it come packaged nicely and is the battery UL certified? How long did shipping take
I heard this bike could do like 41-42mph. So the most it goes is like 33mph or so?
41-42mph, that would be amazing! For me, not so much! LOL! So far, I have reached speeds of 34mph.
@@Fasting-4-Life just to make sure this is the Eahora Pro right?
@@Poteluz Yep, that's correct!
@@Poteluzmaybe needs programming
None of these bikes will do 41mph wtf..to get that speed Ull need a 3,000watt motor, and 72volt battery…it gets less efficient as you require more speed and needs more power
Could I ask your likes and dislikes so far?
20 Likes, 0 Dislikes
@@Fasting-4-Life Lol touche. I meant your likes and dislikes with the romeo pro so far please, thank you!
@grandtheftaliens I apologize for misunderstanding your earlier post; I am still unclear about what you're referring to. Are you referring to my overall likes/dislikes with regard to this video? Or are you just talking about the general comments I get while riding the streets? Again, I apologize if I am totally off.
@@Fasting-4-Life My apologies for the confusion. I just wanted to know your likes and dislikes with the romeo pro bike itself so far. Specifically the seat comfort/padding, range, speed, battery life and reliability. Thank you! 👍
@grandtheftaliens No worries! My overall experience with it is an 8.5 out of 10. The bike offers a lot of cool features and can greatly improve the quality of your riding. However, there may still be some areas where it could improve further. Nonetheless, I would still highly recommend it to anyone looking for fun. The first gripe is seat padding/comfort poor, and I give it an overall rating of 5.5 out of 10. I've been searching online for a replacement seat with better cushioning. I did a 60-mile ride earlier today, and let me tell you, that seat was brutal on my backside! Upon completing that same 60-mile ride, I had about 32% battery left. I could have done an additional 10-15 miles. The battery/range meets expectations. It also should be noted that I am a big guy weighing 256 pounds. Someone who weighs less could go further. Battery/range 9 out of 10. Reliability, I'll give it a solid 10 out of 10 for now, and that's because I only have 525.39 miles completed so far.
Can i change out the motor
@andreperry7995 I haven't entertained changing out the motor. Maybe you can, but I cannot say for sure.
@@Fasting-4-Life thanks.
How fast
@andreperry7995 So far, I have gotten this bike up to 33 mph.
Thanks bro
Is the front and rear suspension adjustable?
Yes.
How much do you weigh approx? What range have you got one on charge? Thank you!
@grandtheftaliens My weight is 256. My longest range was 42 miles with approx 76% battery remaining.
@@Fasting-4-Life That is amazing! Thank you for the info. 🙏
@@Fasting-4-Lifewow that's crazy range right there
do you think this battery is safety?
The battery seems pretty safe.
How is the comfort level? Is the rear suspension adjustable? Have you taken it off road? Have you drag raced a Grizzly yet? I see you got to 37mph, what is your approx weight? Thanks for the videos! :)
@grandtheftaliens My weight is 256. I have not raced an AR Grizzly. Offroad riding is decent, but I would not recommend it for prolonged periods - it performs better on paved roads. Seat comfort is 5.5/10.
@@Fasting-4-Lifethank you! Good to know about the seat. It seems most ebikes need a change out from factory including the grizzly!
Sit on it and take another video! How tall are you? Get someone around 180lbs and 5'8 to 6' to pedel while you video, I want to see what the leg extension is when pedeling as the SEAT in NOT adjustable. Cant find any vids on this possible issue.
1000w or 1200w ?
1200w
Like bike I got one but my like not going off ..it say on
Congrats on getting your new Romeo Pro. My only gripe, the speedometer on mine is inaccurate. I reached out to customer support and they are working to resolve my issue.
I'm getting mine tomorrow 😊
Congrats and happy riding!
How is it so far? Did you get the pro?
@@grandtheftaliens So far, this bike is great! Yep, I got the Romeo Pro (1200w)!
Thanks for the video! what was the top speed? I couldn't see it. Nice looking bike though
36 mph
I have sane bike and everything you said is right it’s not a bike but a motorcycle feel and I found a bag that fits right above battery in that slot and I added a wind screen on mine such a solid ride and the pas 1 is like pas 4 looking to find motorcycle tires that will fit rim cause this thing getting a flat would not be fun
First, congrats on getting your new Eahora Rome Pro! You are absolutely right about PAS 1 feeling like PAS 4, it's very zippy! As for bad luck happening, I got a rear flat tire riding through the mean streets of Detroit this past Sunday - thanks to fix-a-flat Slime and my portable inflater, I was only down for about an hour. Installing motorcycle tires makes sense, maybe I'll consider doing that in the near future. Thank you for the suggestion. Can you please share the name of the windscreen you purchase? I think that would be a smart purchase too! Take it easy for now and happy riding, buddy!
Could you drop a link to the bag you bought jn amazon please 🙏
I heard some of the bikes can be squirrely because of the weight of the battery and the poor quality of the front suspension. How do you find it?
My 1st e-bike was a Letric XP (no suspension), 2nd e-bike Ariel Rider Kepler (front-only suspension), and the Eahora Romeo (full suspension). In my opinion, the Eahora Romeo is way better when compared to my other e-bikes! The battery is nearly 30 lbs, to me that helps a lot with keeping the bike stable.
@@Fasting-4-Life Someone was saying if you engage the front break it becomes unstable. Sorry to re ask the same question again. This being the case is just a major fear of mine.
@@MustyBastard Thankfully, this has not happened to me. Thanks for the heads up!
What top speed are you getting?
I've gotten it up to 35mph.
I was looking into getting one..that battery is massive. Looking forward to some more content on it.
@@Deo_on2 Will do!
@@Deo_on2 I just did a 41-mile ride today and when I finished the ride, the battery was @ 76%!
@@Fasting-4-Lifehow much do you weigh?
That’s a really nice bike. It looks a lot like a motorcycle. How does it handle?
Thank you! The handling is great -the nearly 30lb battery makes for a stable ride.
is it awkward to pedal while sitting down?
Very awkward, but I’ve gotten use to it.
@@Fasting-4-Life while should it be awkward, i dont understand?
@@itehskulled Pedaling this bike can be awkward because it's not like pedaling a normal bicycle. In my opinion, it would be like pedaling a motorcycle if a motorcycle had pedals. But like I said in a previous post, you get used to it. 🙂
