Thank you so much
What is the yellow part called?
LITERALLY SAVED MY PENCIL IN A MINUTE THANKYOU!!!!!
You are welcome. : )
Thanks
Hellooo! I have a question, what do you think the problem is, if my lead keeps slipping in the pencil when I write? Nothing is clogged as far as I can tell, and nothings jammed :(
It happens from time to time and is really annoying :((
thanks for your guide!!!!
wow wow wow and hear i was almost breaking my 1 HOUR OLD PENCIL 😕
Wow! I had no idea you could pop off that metal top. I'm amazed there's actually an eraser in there! Thanks a bunch. I just wanted to open mine because of some weird sounds, and then I discovered a bunch of leads that were kind of bothering me. Arigatou!
lol I thought that me metal top part was a no brainer, but even that is a surprise for some. Just checked your channel here and wow, you sure are quite talented at drawing. I'm glad I could help.
my metal tip will not budge
You mean the pocket clip?
I accidentally disassembled it once and took out the spring.. Can't disassemble the yellow (black for me) part
It might be stuck, I don't know.
Thankyou so much i watch your vidio how to dissamble and ressamble my graphgear 1000 and now its working!! tysm😊😊

Thank you! Good question. I guess not.
Suuuugeeeeew
wdym
does the top metal bit where the eraser is come off? Edit: Yes it does. It unscrews.
Hello, Mongo. I'm sorry for the slow reply. I don't think so. You would probably break the white plastic part attached to it.
Very helpful
I'm glad I could help. : )
0:18 it's too hard i can't open it 😭😭😭😭😭
Others have also reported the same issue. You better not force it, though. It may crack the plastic part.
Thanks a lot!
You are welcome!
Thanks you 🙂 really your video is help for me i have pentel grapher 1000 is not work properly so i seen u r video and work
You are welcome, Rohit! : )
Helped a lot decided to follow
Great, thanks, Abdullah! : )
Cannot get the white plastic part back into the eraser end of pencil. Very tight. Last part to be removed. Well, I just figured it out...push down on release. Any suggestions.
Hello, Sarah. I'm sorry for the slow reply. Did you figure your problem out already?
Thank you for the video! I needed to fix the yellow part of mine.
You are welcome, Gustavo!
Fring.
Why won't my replacement lead not load?
Hmm I don't know exactly, but I guess it is because something is stuck, maybe even your own lead. Maybe if you give me more details I could help you finding a fix for that.
@@gsf02 I think I needed to clear the pen. I jammed a sewing needle into the hole, but it wasn't quite small enough. But somehow I got it working. Thanks.
@@jx14aby you are welcome! I am glad you were able to fix it.
hi ! y had the same problem, it was a little part of lead in the part of the pencil where the lead comes out, it was too small but i could take it out with my nail, and please excuse my terrible english, most of the time i speak spanish.
Dude, thankyou ! A BA was absolutely no help in trying to figure this out.
You are welcome, Nelson! I am happy to know that my video was helpful to you. One doubt, though: what would "A BA" be?
I put the pencil back together just like the video, but the bottom part with the clutch won't lock in place when I press the top ...I know it has something to do with the clip holder...am I missing something?
Hello, Curt. I am sorry for the slow reply. I hope that you figured out a way to fix your pen by now. Well, if you didn't, I am sorry for not figuring out a fix or the cause for your problem, although the clip holder is probably the one to blame.
omg thx so much you helped me fix my pentel graphgear 1000
You are welcome!
Yellow part is plastic right ?
Yes, Sir.
much appreciation!
DreamFarmJB Anytime!
I found out how to unscrew the colored cap part. Just screw off the metal tip itself. It'll come right off
TrqHardPvP , very interesting suggestion!
Mine doesnt come off
mine is jammed
the yellow part in my pencil is black and cant unscrew. is it meant to be this way? the pencil is not working, not ejecting the graphite so I wanted to see whats wrong but its impossible to open I feel I am going to break it if I use pliers
Very interesting discussion here, folks, although I can not help you all with any sort of suggestions. Apparently the mechanical pencil (same model, though, as you guys suggest ) with the black plastic internals is harder to disassemble. Any problems for any of you 8 or 4 months later?
@@gsf02 My pencil definitely cant unscrew but I realized there was some graphite stuck on the tip. I tried to push it out with other stick and finally managed to do it after breaking 2-3. I havent had any issues since then. It can be tricky to fix if you dont know whats the problem
Indeed, very tricky! Good that you at least removed the stuck lead. I would suggest you to read the comment of other person here in comments section, he managed to remove the black part with a pair of pliers. Quite risky, I guess, but it worked flawlessly for him, apparently.
could you please do the same thing with the graphgear 500? I am not able to re-assemble anymore :(
I'm sorry, I don't have this mechanical pencil model. Hope that your pencil gets fixed!
@@gsf02 thanks
@meussons You are welcome!
500 lead is available on online ? Plz share link
VV Media I am sorry, what do you mean?
I have a question, I rotated the cap of the pencil and heard a little click, could I have broken something?
I don't know, it could be a crack, just as you referred, or it could be the spring mechanism inside flexing a bit.
I have a question, I rotated the cap of the pencil and heard a little click, could I have broken something?
Check out my answer on the another video, please. I hope I have helped you.
You saved my pencil! The lead was not being gripped, and just slid freely through the thing. Followed your disassembly and found that a small chunk of lead was lodged between two lobes of the collet, preventing it from closing all the way and gripping the lead. Dislodged the fragment of lead, and now it works a treat. Thanks!
MechaTama31, I'm very happy that I could help you. That's all about community!
Exactly the same for me. Thanks for the video. Very good to have something short and comprehensive. Previously I watched a 10 minute video which told me nothing I didn't already know!
I had an issue where the clutch ( I think it's called that) didn't push lead forwards, it only held it in place. I was scared that I broke a quality mechanical pencil forever . This video helped me disassemble the pen and fix it. Thanks a lot!
the yellow part doesn't have the screwy part at both ends for my and neither the grip or cap will stay on.
Maybe it has and you got to put some bit of more force when twisting off the yellow part, obviously, always doing it gently.
I have question, what are the chances of me breaking this pencil, more specifically the inside mechanism for the tip, is it easily broken or will it last as long as I don't purposely break it?
The pen is well constructed, it will probably last as long as you don't purposely break it.
@@gsf02 Thanks for your answer
