He’s not using this enough, his slashing ability is arguably is greatest threat, to put him on these low block/post ups just opens up so much for his game and more so than anything provides him that feel and rhythm that he sometimes lacks, at times he tries to flow into it with deep chucks that are makeable for him but still he’s a beast and they can’t guard him once he’s down there, let’s go JT🤝💪

It's a shame for Tatum that this part of his game is so at odds with the team's offensive philosophy - a lot of possessions where he COULD work his opponent down to score, the math argues he should kick it out, and he does what is best for the squad the vast majority of the time. He really showed up at the beginning of last season with a ton of extra power, and it really showed on the glass, and in post touches. Great highlight.

I wish you would’ve shown his huge defensive turnover against Sabonis late in the 4th QT when we played the Kings in Sacramento. It was almost like Sabonis hit a stone wall trying to back OG down which ultimately caused him to double dribble. People don’t really talk to much about OG’s strength , dude is a beast.
