Was there a method you used for your Xbox Controller to connect to the game? I’m currently trying to get my Switch Pro Controller connected in modern day, so I was wondering if there would be any softwares or just basic setups I’m missing.

my mom bought this for me in the late 90s. The FMV stuff really freaked me out and the music didn't help :D That said, I liked the game and really enjoyed it. Vinny might have missed the record player with the message from headquarters

Battle City is one of the most pirated Famicom games around.

I've been playing every single game available on the Switch NES emulator, in chronological order, and just got to Soccer. It's been a lot of fun.

Dragon Quest I is one of those games where it's much better to play the SNES/SFC remake.

I can remember playing Challenger on a weird Famiclone plug and play console called the Power Joy.

On Commando, there's actually a whole lot of those secret passages! In addition to being able to grenade some of them open, some of the ways into huts or caves on the map can also be entered. And there's a ton of things to find in them, from gigantic score bonuses (one's 100,000 points!), to powered-up grenades, _infinite_ grenades, or a powered-up machine gun. Some of them, however, are actually traps! Some you have to grenade the way out, and if you run out of grenades while in them you actually lose a life! There's also the infamous "gasroom," which you not only have to blow your way out, but also have a timer, and the exit is randomly placed too! And if you find all the POWs in a level the game acknowledges it on the level transition screen and gives you a score bonus! Famicom/NES Commando is a terrific (although sometimes a bit glitchy, and definitely flickery) game.

It's a shame the power ups in Alpha Mission would drain so quickly, which in turn drained the fun real quickly. ;)

My problems with Terra Cresta is how the guns on the ground are the same color as the background thus camouflaging them. Also the enemy movement patterns as well as how they move so much faster than you do tend to make they fly right into your ship. Also the amount of times you get hit while trying to pick up a power up is frustrating. Other than that, it’s a pretty fun game.

It's easy to land in Top Gun, just ignore the commands and follow the guide on your radar, 200 altitude and 200 speed, keep yourself at that and land.

3:12 That Vol thing coming down is a powerup select. They are stackable, and are used one by one each time you use it. Pause the game, press select until you see the powerup you want, and unpause. Only one will be used when you unpause the game, no matter how many times you hit select. You destroyed it. Good job! :P Also, this game has 3 secret weapons, and level skips, and other stuff hidden under flashing obstacles. 4:21 You can press the A button (?) on the diamond treasure to transform it into various things. Including those fireball powerup bottles, which are useful for that stage.

I loved Volguard II, it was fun. And then those electrical barrier things happened after the first boss. I had absolutely NO idea how to get past those! They can't be shot! And then i figured out that you can walk under them.
