I did that catch once with the Bobcat and a coconut tree over a shed! If I have a choice between cutting or being in the Bobcat I always choose the Bobcat! I need to dig out my homemade hydraulic chain saw, that's what you need for your Bobcat!

I had to get my own hose crimper so I could make up hydraulic hoses on the spot. My Bobcats are so tight that I decided to replace all the hoses at once. I was tired of replacing them one by one as they failed.

It's great when UA-cam recommends these smaller farming channels! I love moving hay bales with skid steers, and I wish Lived near farms so I could help out by running the Bobcat loading and unloading.

I use a blow tube from the air compressor to clean out around the drive gears/chain seems to work pretty good, nice rig!

Interesting video, reminds me when we used tower silos back in 1970s and 80s I will never forget the number of sore throats during winter with all the dirty debris in the shoot while climbing up , even wearing face masks, was relieved when we changed to pit silage and wrapped bales . Your weather looks cold it rarely gets as cold in UK . Our problem during winter is rain and windy weather. Thanks for sharing Happy New Year 🇬🇧

And corn is $4 something a bushel. Been all the way through Iowa all summer and early fall into Minnesota and Wisconsin and there’s not much to write home about. Corn should be that $6+.

We always top silos off. Then cover with big sheet of plastic!!

We custom chop and filled a 20’X60’ in 3 hours. Came back in a week and put 2 more loads in to top it off. Corn silage.

You need safety harness when climbing silos!!

Good and bad job. Good that you are at the top of a full silo, bad that you are forking silage at the top of a silo. Haul the stuff and yourself up and down. Doesn't matter if it is 14'X45' or 24'X65', it's not an easy job. Keep the blower running!👍
