I have a unique situation. I'm somewhat over the limit for MAPP but I have and have had an dependent adult child at home. She's not on SSI but her illnesses would qualify as such

very cool...I have a brother with downs that is 54.....what a special guy he is....the doctors told my parents the same thing...my parents said, NOPE...he is family, and coming home with us...My brother Tom has been a total blessing.....

I'm a caregiver for my daughter with disabilities. The agency who pay me as caregiver said that I cannot have a second job. They require me to take care of my daughter at least 5 hours, obviously I do more than that; but if I want to have a second job, like a one part time or any other from home, I'm not allowed to do it and I don't know why. The payment I received as caregiver is not sustainable to pay a health insure or to cover other home expenses. It's something else that I don't know about to have a second income? I appreciate your help. Thank you!

I have been on my job for 17 years caregiving for my mother and for other people in the world and now I'm being taken care buy a caregiver cuz I just had heart surgery and now I can't get around so it's hard all around needing a caregiver and being a caregiver both is hard I'm getting emotional now I'm getting off LOL

It's really hard being a caregiver for a family member I was 25 when I started caregiving for my grandmother she was 600 pounds paralyzed I took care of her 24 hours a day for about 5 years it was hard
