Thank you.
I was under the impession that its not allowed to film inside of the palace????

The statues around the Corsican should have been of his french Marshalls his true source and support of his Empire
We should have this method as a service for preserving our deceased loved ones.
One of the greatest Italians. Napoleone Buonaparte from Corsica. His family originally from Tuscany with Pasquale Paoli fought the French.
He is french not italian, despite what you think or want
Napoleone used France for what he wanted : Power . Napoleone Buonaparte is his real name from Corsica. His family originally from Tuscany fought with Pasquale Paoli against France. His father Carlo and him support the values and ideals of Paoli. Only when reached the power left the ideals of Corsica for the unification of Europe under his rules. He was really proud of his Italian and Tuscan ancestors and he used to Say : "I am more Italian and Tuscan than Corso"He changed is surname in Bonaparte because he was discriminated and bullied in France because he was not considered french. He learned French at Age of 9 and spoke French all his Life With a very strong Italian accent. He and his family were speaking Italian at home. For him family was above all. His family moved to Italy and married Italian nobility. Question: Is he french?
Translate this in French was written by your Emperor.....: Francesi, non paghi di averci portato via tutto ciò che ci era caro, avete anche corrotto i nostri costumi.
Napoleone Buonaparte, in fact, has always been proud of his family's Tuscan origins. In his crowded home in Ajaccio Italian had always been spoken and his parents had both been on the front line in the fight for the island's independence. The little Tuscan who became emperor hated the French and never forgave his father for having turned his back on the dream of a free Corsica to guarantee his children a place in the sun under the new regime.

Whoo hoo! I'm the first :-) I find this amazing. The fact that it's so well preserved confounds me. It's so ornate, it reminds me of a gigantuan wooden wedding cake. He said the stern was held together with iron nails, so how was the rest held together? Using the hole and dowel plug technique? There seems to be a distinct lack of metal making the whole thing seem extremely woody. Uniquely beautiful. I remember a true story where a beautiful English flag ship sank right In front of a huge crowd of onlookers (including the king himself, along with his onturage) who were watching a sea battle taking place close to shore. The kings flag ship entered the fray as the onlookers gasped in awe and expectation as, with all its gun ports OPEN , she tact into a very sharp turn, causing her to develop an extreme list. So extreme that water started rushing in through the lower OPEN gun ports which wound up sinking her. The king and all the onlookers would not have been able to believe their eyes as the brand new Pride of the Fleet, sank, without having fired a shot. Not by cannon fire, but by poor seamanship! The masts remained above the waves, reaching high into the sky, marking the spot of its tragic folly. True story! Always expect the UNEXPECTED. DON. Xpat (N.Y.C.) from Dean undah :-)
I think some pieces were not together, they put them back together after get it to the land
I love this museum, I wish you show us each object for a long time so that we can appreciate it more.
