I was in Texas as an exchange student when it happened.I clearly remember how my roommate dragged me out of my dorm room as the images flickered over and over on the television screen. I thought, “This will change everything.” Next up was video art class. Our teacher urged us to pay close attention to what would happen next-in the media, in politics, in society. I sat in front of the TV with my camera and recorded for hours. My head was spinning, my thoughts were drifting. Imagine the people on the plane, the people in the tower, imagine all the people who knew and all those who didn’t.The images began to blur. The thoughts in my head grew very loud. I have no power over the course of events; There is nothing I can do. In the end, I just felt numb and insecure.
