I never had any issues with my snap on dentures ,I change my snaps on mine every 6 months and get them through Amazon 4 for 30 bucks ,very easy too change .,and I have the change out tool which is only a 75 dollar charge once .

*WHAT A LOAD OF BS!!!* I mean he's working from the point of view that implants should be so incredibly overpriced. The best way to finance dental implants is to cut the price down first, and in a big way. Get a Passport and be willing to travel. Even a little bit, just over the border into Mexico. I needed a full mouth restoration, $60K in Phoenix, $14K in Los Algodones. That small city is on the border where California and Arizona meet Mexico, with 350 dentists in under a square mile. Same technology (or better) and excellent dentists. Research *DENTAL TOURISM*, there are many cities and countries where tens of thousands Americans and Canadians are traveling to for dental and other health care.

Annnnd this is why people go to other countries. Veneers in reputable countriez are a fraction of America's cost ( I'm not talking Mexico or Turkey ) Why on earth is everything so expensive in America? Sure there are some wealthy people but most of us are average 40 hr a week citizens trying to raise our families. It is an absolute shame we cant afford proper dental work. Some of us inherited terrible weak teeth. No amount of brushing, flossing, cleaning can make them last a lifetime or be attractive in our younger years. Dental colleges are an option. Students in their last year are supervised by long time dentist, oral surgeons etc. It is time consuming, since youre working with a student but my gosh the money you can save. At UT there is quite a waiting list, it youre interested in something like this put your name on the list. It may take a year. I had a decent experience getting 4 veneers. However my student dentist was a very timid young lady. Everything she did took tons of time. Before i coyld get veneers they took care of every dental problem i could possibly have. I once had a root canal by a young man. This was the last root canal he needed to do before graduating. I was shocked at how efficient he was. I visit, 1 root canal. It would have taken my regular student dr at leadt 4 visits. No joke. But i hv friends who have had great experiences at dental colleges.

I had upper denture at 18 years old, it had some gold on it, when I came to this country. I got a new upper denture , and so on I replece it every few years. Now I'm 66 , and my dentists dentists is recommending me to get snap on upper denture, I don't know if I should do it??

ALL dentists are over priced!!! It's really sad that only the rich people can afford to get their teeth fixed while the rest of us suffer. You can't find any assistance to get the necessary dental treatment you need and dentists will not work with you. They only care about MONEY!!! SHAMEFUL!!!!

Those snap dentures for just the bottom here, where I live are 12,000.00 to 13,000.00

I’ve had snap in dentures for a year and a half, top and bottom. 4 implants on top, 4 on bottom. And it’s been a nightmare. The top arch keeps breaking in half. I’m currently waiting on my fourth new top arch and my first new bottom arch and sitting here again without teeth and unable to eat solid food. I have spent my whole life savings on these teeth and I’ve gone without teeth more than I’ve had teeth in the last year and a half. The dentist tells me that if this doesn’t work, he can’t help me and I’m on my own. I have absolutely no idea where to turn next. I don’t have problems at all with my implants. It’s the arches that keep breaking. Any suggestions? I’m ready to have my abutments unscrewed, let my gums grow over them and be done with snap ins. Just thinking about how much money I’ve blown on this dream makes me wanna cry.

scary. there is never any talk about infection into the bone which travels through your body and heart. In Saudi. we use to pull all their teeth out so there was no risk of infection prior to heart sugery. after doing extensive research. I found out the infection issues with anything drilled into your mouth is a diaster for infection which involves the organs and/or any part of the body. Which makes sense because infection travels through the blood.

*PLEASE* *HELP* I have a few questions how long does it take because I know they have to extract the bad teeth and wait for gums to heal so from the first visit that you got the work done until the last visit that you had the work done how long was it? I need like 10 molars replaced top and bottom I crushed my nose and broke quite a few teeth in a bad car accident and that was 15 years ago I’m 40 today and I’m worried it’s gave me some sort of heart disease although I’m relatively healthy and look fine but looks can be deceiving we all know that I think it could just be my anxiety tbh. Today they gave me 3 options today at the Dental office 1.) is go the implant route it’ll probably take a year to get everything finished and it cost $28k 2.) Do implants on the top and partials on the bottom 17k or 3.) just get the bad teeth extracted and do partials because it’s a lot more in my budget and for that it’s only $5,500 and they could extract the teeth in 3 weeks and have the partials in by Thanksgiving this year (2024) and said I can always upgrade to implants later when my money gets back up again. I don’t have any dental insurance so this would be all out of pocket and they’re recommending Proceed Financial. I just don’t know which to choose I have good credit so I could probably get approved for the implants but that’s another big bill every month I’m 40 recently single and depresssd and I’ve always been the life of the party bachelor living Las Vegas dating beautiful woman but right now I’m depressed and down in the dumps. I wish I knew the right answer here,smh?? **If I did get the partials I definitely would like the ones that don’t show the wire is that always an option?

Can bone grafting be used to be able to put in a FP1?

I like the idea of a snap on bc I feel like it would be easier to keep my mouth clean. But, I heard the long term maintenance cost for snap ons can be more expensive than all on 4 permanent full arch implants

So, during the initial healing process you go back for your permanent set and the implants have to be ‘uncovered’? Why? Does skin/gums heal over the top? If so, won’t that happen with the permanent set?

I have a couple of ceramic implants which stain less than my natural teeth.

When considering this option should one totally change their teeth to the perfect straight, white looking teeth, or keep it natural? Thank you for any advice you can give. I feel like if I am going to pay for the implant dentures, then I might as well get the perfect, straight, white teeth, but the doctor performing the implant procedure is trying to convince me to keep my same look. I do have straight teeth. I had braces, & multiple other procedures growing up to get the "perfect" smile, they just aren't as white as I would like. I'm needing the procedure bc I had anemia & hyperparathyroidism that went undiagnosed for years. I've just been going to the dentist constantly for root canals, implants (i already have 3), fillings, etc. The dentist finally said he didn't want to keep taking my money for a problem that was basically out of control at this point. Approximately $15k in 2 years later. 😢❤ It's been very depressing, because like I said, I've always prided myself on having the perfect teeth, & in just such a short amount of time, a disease(s) can ruin everything. I have a 770 credit score I financed through the place i got my bottom implants 25000 dollars.They got me a company in Alabama to get an eight year loan at 15 percent interest.I am not happy with that because it cost 470.00 a month as most of my payment goes to interest.I told my dentist that the finance company makes more money off the interest than he makes as he has to pay his staff and rent along with insurance.The original contract was eight percent but left blank on the contract so beware of the finance companies.I think best to take home equity loan as that would work better with payments and can be write off on taxes.

After a full year I’ll be getting my final Zirconia teeth in 5 days. I’ve had Acrylic temp in my mouth since surgery to let my gums heal and settle in. My dentist is Eggleston he wrote the book a million dollar smile. Great video showing the strength

Snap on Dentures with a bar on 4 implants with ceremic or composite teeth ...cost nothing in the Netherlands 🇳🇱. Basic health insurance 180 euro's a month paying includes teeth removal , reline , anesthesia normal dentures etc. No extra cost.

Dental treatment are to expensive. The dentist don't care about you. They care about how much money they can get out of you!!! They want every client to pay for their student loans!

Just a suggestion: I have Non-Hogkin’s Lymphoma and have experienced a significant weight loss. I also have dental problems. My VA Home Health Care Provider came up with a mixture of pudding mixed with a high protein/high calorie shake. It’s stabilized my weight loss and I have even put on a few pounds. I think, because pudding requires no chewing, this would be ideal for a patient following dental implant surgery. Might not work for everyone; but it has worked well for me! 😊

Many of the formerly middle class families, after Covid's recession, have now sunk to lower or working or retired, so think just above Federal Poverty Level incomes!! They don't qualify for Medicaid & Social Security doesn't cover the 80% for anything but full dentures, either upper or lower or both!! Who wants to have all their remaining good teeth pulled just to get dentures??
