That’s a shame the coffee wasn’t great Steve, it’s always disappointing to pay for a coffee and it just doesn’t come up to the mark. I do remember your video on this place and the food looked great.

I remember the Eataly video. I mentioned that we went to the one in Toronto. We had incredible pasta. We didn't have the coffee. My Italian cousins were here from Australia and they had the espresso. Matt and I will be in Italy in July and we'll try as many coffees as we can and let you know what we think, I bet the independent coffee shops there will be pretty amazing. As for Markus coffee, did you find it better than Monmouth? Maybe I should rewatch your video 😊I'll do that now. See ya there

I remember your videos of the Eataly. The decadent deserts are beautiful. Too bad the coffee was not completely up to snuff. The aroma was interesting - a steam engine. LOL The sweet cake looked delicious. I like the decor of the place. I guess Markus still shines as one of the best.

And when you took the first sip, you looked like you had a hard time gulping it down. Sorry. Zero taste. Coffee spilled over hot water. Now you need a chaser! Maybe a nice Lardy Bun?? 🥮 I enjoyed this on a Saturday morning. I think it is a great idea to take off points for paper cup servings. Especially for a boutique coffee shop. That sounded like a dreadful coffee, I just hate when a coffee is watery. I agree one hundred percent Steve if dining in I want my coffee in a china cup.

We must have walked right by this café on our last visit. We walked up Kensington High Street after walking through Holland Park. Matt and I were just looking through the pictures from our trip. We love our memories. We were just looking through the pictures with our London Visited guide 😀43,000 steps 😲

Because I go to the same place every morning for breakfast this morning 🌄 the cashier gave me a staff discount. I paid$2.97 for a medium coffee, bagel twist, and hash browns ! I got a free donut last night ! Made my morning.

Next time you need to include Jaden in the coffee tasting or at least let him say hi. I think they should do a proper cup. I am off to get my boring regular breakfast coffee.

I get a cozy, warm, coffee vibe in there. I totally agree with you about the paper cup. I love my coffee in a ceramic, stone, or other natural material cup. It makes a difference to me. However, it seems to have past with flying colors in the paper cup. The color and crema of the coffee are beautiful. There looks to be good full body. Looks like a good try. On one of my news emails it had about MIT in Boston MA . They have a class where part of the time they taste coffee and write down whether it's good or bad. It just screams you so I would pack your bags and head to MA USA 🇺🇸 as soon as possible. MIT is for horribly intellectual people so you would fit in.

What was the chocolate 🍫 cake like ? It looked very nice. I just finished a medium hot coffee, light no sugar from Dunkin Donuts. I have one before work to try and stay awake at work. Doesn't usually work. I do enjoy drinking them in the am and pm. Nothing as fancy as yours though.

Well 19 out of 25 is not too bad at all. The coffee sounds delicious. I have never seen anyone analyze coffee like you do and would never think to measure the qualities that you do. I have learned a few things on this channel of coffee tasting. I am coming the end of May to London and am looking forward to it!! I am booked and confirmed. LOL If I have already mentioned it, please excuse - but I would love to see you taste the Jamaican Inn Coffee House - the oldest in London. You did a video that covered it a while back. However, I think you mentioned that you could not film inside. Oh well, maybe I can visit it in person. LOL CHEERS!!

Oh I love when you film this place!! So fascinating and entertaining. Worth a visit!!! I LOVE the music!! You are in a T Shirt only. Are you having a warm spell? It is freeeeezing here! The aroma sounds wonderful and love the nut smell too. I also love a low acidity in my coffee. Now see, I would also think a bold aroma would mean strong body - a little let down that the body does not match the aroma. So 19 out of 29 is not bad, but could be better.

Is that the one built in an old bathroom 🚻 🤔 😳? It sort of looks like it and I can remember you doing a show on one. Glad you enjoyed the coffee so much.

I am not sure I could sit in such a noisy place 🤔 even with good coffee. It's getting a bit cold 🥶 to sit outside. I wonder if they have people there all night. They must do otherwise they wouldn't be open.

Great little coffee shop in such an elegant area. Few experiences can beat a fabulous cup of coffee on a cool crisp autumn day. I love the slightly rustic look interior with the rustic wooden floor and the vintage machinery. Just a tiny note, if you do not mind, when the employees were working the equipment, it was a bit loud over your voice. I realize this is something you cannot help. A small shop with poor acoustics at a time when people love to dart in for a sip. I am so happy this was a supreme cup of coffee to you. I will remember the name Markus Coffee. Cheers.
