Something about Batman willingly wielding a gun is just so bizarre to me.

Apparently the backstory for this Elseworld is that, in this reality, the villains succeeded in Arkham Knight and destroyed Gotham while Scarecrow's fear toxin spread over the entire world. Then Brainiac shows up, eliminates the small amount of remaining resistance making a final stand in Gotham, and conquers what's left. As the world was already largely destroyed and depraved of resources, he realized he had little use for it and left it as a crumbling husk. Really haunting with the atmosphere and music to see just how big the stakes truly were in the Arkham games if the villains won.

Tbh when I played up to the fear toxin monster Batman boss battle it reminded me of that one lego batman 3 boss battle when batman summoned all those bats to make a huge monster of himself 12:32

Not a great game, but Batman/Gotham's themes are some of the best songs in the whole series. The Arkhamverse and Gotham City songs are beautiful, especially Return to Arkham.

I actually like them tackling batman being close to breaking his no kill rule. Think he almost killed joker in the comics at some point after Jason Todd's death.

I kinda wish Batman did kill Flass. Apart from the fact that Harvey was his friend, in the original comics, Batman actually did use a gun and killed people, which the show seems to emulate some of his first appearances, especially the Clayface episode.

Batman would never use a gun unless in situations like this. Harvey was his friend, and knows he caused him to suffer this pain. He pushed him to far and he doesn't kill him. He gives him a warning shot, he realizes what he could of been, liek the man who killed his parents. So he gets upest and throws the gun away. Ive watched the entire show. And they nailed this part from the comics. Yes Batman many times has actually killed someone with a gun...in the comics.. and sometimes he doesn't. Depending on the situation..

God! You know, i actually was curious to see if they were gonna go with the original Batman in his early appearances that he did sometimes kill, and am genuinely pleased with the way they handled it! Seeing Issie 27, batman kill.in animation is finally animated
