If you can earn 200pts of Style points, you are just a few steps away. As for shortening the time, I used the stage select in "OPTION+" and repeatedly fought only one enemy to devise the best tactic. If you are taking more than 7 seconds per set on average, you may need to rethink your tactics.

I'm not playing this game with a keyboard, so unfortunately I can't help you with the setup. These numbers simply indicate the input direction instead of the arrow symbols.

Try to find an attack that always hits after you guard an enemy's middle kick. In Sarah's case, "7K" is a common hit after guarding.

Is it difficult to find a way to invite a low kick after the enemy is down? Crouch near a downed enemy, and when you see the enemy roll to the side: (step back, step forward, crouch throw). The easiest crouching throw is to keep hitting Dural with "2P,2P,2P" to do an Iron Claw.

@@quiquiriqui6812 I've tried high punches to try to get the enemy to crouch, and sometimes I just wind up knocking them out with punches (they never crouch). Or sometimes they will throw me in the middle of my punches because I'm open to attack. This is good advice, though. Totally going to try this!

Invite a middle kick, guard it and hit "PK". If the enemy gets up, it is effective to stay close and hit "Tetsuzankou" (466P+K). Style points are only earned when an attack hits an enemy. If you miss an attack, your style points won't be subtracted.

@@quiquiriqui6812 Good to know points aren't subtracted. Sometimes though the enemy will throw me or interrupt my Tetsuzankou. I guess I should be as close as possible when I input it?

The Sega Astro City mini arcade machine actually has the arcade version. It looks phenomenal! After playing the Saturn ones for sooo many years, it's like I forgot how good the arcade version looked.

@@CrowBat2005 yeah the poly count was pretty high on the models and designs totally seemed intentional and not that way due to technical limitations. I'd definite get a full size cabinet of that game just to have on display. Maybe the astro mini might be worth a purchase, but it would be really special to have the real model 1 machine. It's funny that vf2 on Saturn looks closer to the arcade than the first game.

@@bjraleigh1439 I'd love to have a full size cabinet, too! The mini does seem pretty small honestly, but I think there's a way you can play it on your TV.

@@bjraleigh1439 Born way before 2005, man. By the new VF game you mean VF5 Ultimate Showdown, right? I don't own Playstation consoles. I've only ever played VF, VF Remix and VF2 on Sega Saturn. I'm still actively playing and trying ranking mode for the highest rank.

VF2 seems way more complicated.

Depending on the music track that plays, 1st Level is either 1st Kyu or 1st Dan. That's about halfway between the lowest and highest rank. Quiquiriqui got the highest rank: Mei Jin.

@@CrowBat2005 I see. I captured the pic, and the Style Points I got were 22, and the Total Points were 665. I guess I got 1st Kyu. Even then, it was a satisfactory performance, since I managed to win against Dural.

"G" is not entered.Hold the "Forward key" and enter at the same interval as "P, P, P ...". (9K, 6PP, P, P, P ......)
