You are right, to start filming is possible with any camera. I also said that in end of the video. I wanted to share my thoughts on the PXYIS in the context of starting a professional career. And in this case 6k and Open Gate are features I don’t need, but make my workflow a little bit better. However, I have the same opinion, just buying the newest camera will not improve the work. But it’s one of the most important tools I work with

Yes i used the Sony BP-U70 Batteries. Two were enough for a shooting day. We shoot a lot in 6k 48fps and open gate and I was happy that two BP-U70 made it through the day

The video is filmed with my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K and the Sigma 18-35mm f.1.8, which is the canon version (EF-Mount). I used this lens on an old canon auto focus film camera to capture the example images. There are different Versions of the Sigma 18-35mm f.1.8 and also a Nikon Version, which should be relatively inexpensive on the „used“ market.

That could be the case, the question is how many people want to wind it themselves. Buying „repacked“ Vision 3 is in my opinion a cool thing, the cost of shooting analog was not the main topic of my video, but I like the idea of achieving the same look with lower costs. Can you recommend a YT Video about the process of winding Vision 3 at home?

You are right the calculation looks incorrect, because I made the mistake of writing that I’m adding 5 films, nevertheless the calculation is correct. 1x 15,9 + 2x 16,5 + 1x 16,99 is 66 and when we add 60 for the development and scanning it is 126. So the calculation on the screen seems incorrect, but the end price is correct. I checked it a second time :) The price difference is therefore 30€, you are right that I did not include the price to get the negatives back, but I did not do this for the CineStill films either. The Silbersalzfilms are definitely more appealing to people living in the EU, but depending on the shipping costs it could also be worth a try for people living outside the EU. With your last point you are also right, the box speed isn’t a „fixed setting“. With my video I tried to collect the most valuable information about the Silbersalzfilms, therefore a short comparison to the CineStill Films was needed, but this comparison could be in more detail in a longer video. I will definitely check this film out! I think the service(4K Gallery for example) of the Silbersalz films is an argument for them. Do you recommend the Atlanta Film 250D?

@@AntonHerrmann They have 250D, 50D, and Euphoric which is E6. The film is solid and available in 100' rolls as well as standard cassettes. All of the 250D / 50 D films are the same essentially--except for those that list that the remjet was removed. I highly recommend them. They also offer development through Kodak Cinema Labs in Atlanta too.
