Let's discuss build quality and long term reliability of the brilliant Royal Enfield 650 twins. This is my own bike which has had about as hard a life as any bike could. Part of the original RE Australia press fleet it's been manhandled by a bunch of mechanically unsympathetic journos for most of its life. It's also done the rounds as a dealer demo for a couple of years where it no doubt suffered yet more abuse at the hands of wannabe stunt riders and cack-handed learners. How's it stood up to all that? Let's have a butchers.
