The Royal Initiative Milch Goat Project - Huai Hong Khrai Royal Development Study Center | AITC2023
Royal Initiative Milch Goat Project
Her Majesty Queen Sirikit graciously allowed the beginning of milch goat extension in the Royal Initiative Projects areas to give milk consumption to children and the impoverished in rural villages for their improved health.
For this reason, the Office of the Royal Development Projects Board, in collaboration with the Department of Livestock Development, introduced the Saanen breed and the hybrid breed Saanen-Anglo Nubian, imported from China, for research and development in animal breeding. The technologies derived from the research and development are then transmitted to the target villages.
