I do actually extremely appreciate the extensive comment, and thank you for providing solutions and whatnot, but my main problem with this invasion was just the fact that I was highly unprepared and didn't wanna deal with an invasion at the time, I was just casually playing and kinda forgot I was embered lmao. I understand that he was just using the environment, and whatnot, to help himself since he was outnumbered, but yah, ty for the comment and explanation, I'm not much of a pvp enjoyer as you can tell lmao <3 have a good day! :D

@ ok I can certainly understand your position and feelings on the matter, I’ve been there myself many times, but none of those things are the fault of the invader by any margin. If you yourself in hindsight ackowledge that this experience being negative was ultimately your own fault, or at least the underlying variables were under your control, why make the video? Why did you felt it was necessary to vilify a fellow player who did comparatively nothing toxic the whole invasion and is practically a diamond compared to what else you could have run into? It feels extremely disongenuous to do so in this context, but also because fundamentally the invader had nothing to do with invasion mechanics being as they are, nor could they have deliberately sniped you at a time of weakness so to speak. The community for the game isn’t terribly large, it’s growing thankfully thanks to elden ring, but it’s still not a good idea to spread dissent among its members with stuff like this. The popularity of such content is bound to only increase toxicity in random pvp because a) players that don’t like invasions will use this as confirmation bias to continue hating the mechanic (made worse in the case of elden ring players, since invasions are even less popular there because of the high quantity of souls newbies) and b) competent invaders (or people that actually enjoy bullying low level hosts) may see such content as a cause of retaliation and bring out the actually toxic stuff. I understand that hating on stuff that you don’t like is fun, I completely get that, but we as a community have to be more mature than that. I don’t think much harm is done with this video, besides the editing is awesome - I can tell you’ve put a lot of effort into this video. Just please try to keep this in mind in the future, and let’s try to make this game last another decade.

@@er4din903 If it helps; I did come from Elden Ring too, and I'd recommended looking at this video through the lens of humour/sarcasm, it's not meant to be serious nor berate the game's pvp system, it was just a bit of silliness. I already think that the things that mainly make the Dark Souls pvp below par are the connection problems, I don't have anything against the pvp community or anything alike, I was just picking fun at it. Hope that helps lmao

@@MistrGrimyLikesCofey3961 absolutely nothing has changed between dark souls 3 and elden ring in the online networking system. Multiple well known code divers have confirmed that already, the only thing is that they upgraded the servers. If you’re having connection issues because you live in a distant region (Fromsoftware have remarkably shit region divisions even now) I recomend disabling cross region multiplayer in the settings when you’re actually in game. This should limit possible summons or invaders to those with sensible connection.

That's never happened for me, and I'm not quite sure what could cause something like that, especially in a Dark Souls game, along with the motion blur being turned off and still occurring despite. I have played ds1 before and seen quite a few vids on it, so that's why I knew that the summon was OP for this fight lmao, but yah, I did horrible without the summon, don't feel bad about dying to that boss or anything lol
