My UA-cam channel mainly features videos of Taiwan, from the forested mountains to the rocky beaches, and everywhere in between. Lots of live music, fireworks, and friends. And scooters, lots of scooters.
(Updated 2024) I took a couple of long walks in 2023 and 2024, so the most recent videos are a record of those journeys. Enjoy!
(Updated in 2023) Not many scooter videos anymore. I got fairly serious about riding bicycles in 2014, and since then, my adventures in Taiwan have mainly been on bicycles.
I'm an active musician, so there are a fair few number of videos my band, the Muddy Basin Ramblers, performing around Taiwan.

Walking out of Dingle, along the beach, up to the Fairy Fort, keeping high on the hills, above the Beehive Huts, across Slea Head, west to Kruger's Pub for fish and chips and a pint, and then down to Dunquin Pier

Walking the Kerry Camino in May 2024. This is day 3 of the journey, covering the segment from Anauscal to Dingle. Sights along the way include Minard Catle, a Fitzgerald clan castle sacked by Cromwell in the 17th century, the nearby St. John's Well (Tobar Eoin), and the Lispole Viaduct, a remnant of the Tralee to Dingle narrow gauge railway from the early 20th century.

Our final day of walking the Camino Santiago, arriving in Compostela on June 6, 2023, Marylee's 77th birthday. This was our 13th day on the road from Porto, Portugal.
Camino Santiago 2023 -- Market Day in Padron

When we arrived in Padron, it was market day, and it seemed that everyone in the area had come to buy the goods they needed at home. After exploring the town a little, we settled down in the hostel, where we talked with Franzi about her life in Germany. Later we went out for dinner and sampled more of the great food of Galicia, with octopus, cheese, empanada, bread, and wine filling our table.
