What a lovely film. Everything--story, performances, production design & sound, the look, the music, and even the color correction--was up to industry standard and top-notch. This would make a beautiful series. I would happily spend time with these people. I also liked the fact that no one in the film was depicted in an over-the-top manner that makes the 'bad guys' nonredeemable. Even the lad who was the mouthiest and seemingly most homophobic made a sincere effort to apologize and make things right with Benny. Lastly, this film did not suffer from typical 'short film syndrome' in its execution; it never devolved into 'great statement declarations' in a bid to force feed emotions in what can be a very overdone genre: The Gay Youth Short. Well done, Harry Jenkins & Co.

With u in our town,it's a good short,directed from a professionnal crew, i really enjoyed it,the main character is really sensitive, if it's directed by a young man,well done.so many emotions are coming thru that short.i love ❤it.

This is a superb short depicting a healthy compassionate relationship between 2 life long friends. So well acted and directed. BRAVO to all involved. AND NO ONE HAD TO DIE.
This is what I’ve been waiting for. A meaningful healthy relationship between 2 life long best friends where being gay doesn’t change anything. AND NO ONE HAS TO DIE. The acting and direction was superb. BRAVO to all involved.

Hello it was an incredible short,Tom and Benny knew each other from the start.they shared everything together.Benny is in Love with tom,he is secretive .opposite to Tom who is more confident.it reminds me a little bit of George michael and Andrew ridgeley from wham.their common Passion is football ⚽️.Benny has to fight with himself to accept his homosexuality.the actors are incredible.it’s really realistic,it’s about British middle class.a little bit of nostalgia from the uk 🇬🇧.the sequence shot reminds me of ken loach ,bill Douglas « my childhood ».and the music is brilliant.a French fan.

This is a beautiful short film that deals with a real scenario that many late teens and early 20s go through. It wasn’t what I expected, which is a good thing, and it shows that the underlying narrative works well
