Welcome to the Anglican tradition brother from an Anglo-Catholic! ✝️
@@Acek-ok9dp thank you brother!✝️🙏🏾
If you can get a copy of it, the book by Anglican bishop H C G Moule "Studies in Colossians & Philemon" has an appendix on "Peter Lombard on Baptism". This discusses the question of those who "receive the Thing and not the sacrament", and includes the quote from St Augustine regarding God's kindness to someone who had faith and love but had not been able to receive baptism. I should say also that there are/have been High Church and Anglo Catholic Anglicans who effectively hold the ex opere operato view of baptism, so it is not exclusively Romanist/Popish doctrine. The Gorham Case controversy in the Victorian Church of England is interesting as bringing out conflicting positions in Anglicanism.
I wish you well in entering into the rich treasures of the Anglican tradition. Some of my favourite Anglican theologians are Henry Parry Liddon, Bishop Alexander Penrose Forbes, Bishop Christopher Wordsworth, Darwell Stone (I have readings from them and others in the Christian Doctrine playlist on my channel. Also Eric Mascall, whose excellent book Christ, the Christian and the Church has recently been republished.
Thank you! And yes I am greatly looking forward to learning and experiencing the rich beautiful Anglican tradition ✝️⛪️
All roads lead to Rome
You should read bishop Davenant's Dissertation on the Death of Christ when you get the chance. He was one of the english delegates to Dort, but he defended hypothetical universalism.
Great convo on the full video!!
Appreciate it brother!
What resources did you and your wife go through on Baptism? I’m married now and we’ll be having kids at some point, Lord willing, and really want to make sure I do what He wants. Thanks brother!
@@jockchicken3595 Hey brother! So first we went through scripture. Going through the verses that speak on Covenants (because your view of the covenant will flow how you view baptism), also we looked at scripture verses that speak on baptism. Also what the Bible speaks on families and households. We also simply looked at commentaries/articles on well known reformed guys past and present (John Calvin and his institutes are a heavy read in my opinion lol. Doug Wilson, RC Sproul, Ligon Duncan) these guys have whole teaching videos as well as articles and commentary, also we looked at Baptist ones as well like certain Baptist covenant theology books like ones I shared previously on my Post section on my UA-cam channel. And just my wife and I going in prayer and seeing what’s more true to what God says in His Word.
Why did you stop at Anglican
What do you mean? I don’t see Anglican as just a little rest stop for something else
@@ReformedBerean you did some homework obviously.so Go back further in time. With church history.
@@Lucas-jy7cv to find what? What am I looking for in church history?
Christ established one holy catholic and apostolic Church, the Catholic Church. He said the gates of hell will not prevail against it.
@@billmartin3561 If the church leaders had not been guilty of distorting God's word for their own gain, there never would have been a Reformation.
Hidden Masonic emblem in your symbol.
What is it?🤔
The only hidden meaning in this symbol is that Christ is King.
Amen 🙏
Amen, we should be going to the Lord and His sufficient Word (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
Amen
Yes, sinners are spiritual dead and by nature children of wrath (Ephesians 2:1-3). We deserve God's wrath, not His mercy. But praise God He gives us mercy.
Amen brother
Replay gang!!!!!
Beautiful! Psalm 133 Behold, how good and pleasant it is when brothers dwell in unity! 2 It is like the precious oil on the head, running down on the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down on the collar of his robes! 3 It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion! For there the Lord has commanded the blessing, life forevermore.
Anglican has some good preachers like J I Packer. Good video
J.I. Packer is solid⛪️
Yesss
Amen to that, brother! Saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9) is all of God and not deserved at all. Folks have the wrong idea of fairness.
Amen bro!
Great show!!!!!!!!! Who made the intro and logo!! FIRE!!!!
Thanks bro! Pastor Jeremy Collins made the intro. And I made the thumbnail 😉

Amen brother, I believe Charles Spurgeon said “Calvinism” is a nickname for being biblical
Amen, because the Bible said what it said before Calvin was born or the word Calvinism was coined. Sadly, the term Calvinism is a scapegoat for people to either ignore certain scriptures or reinterpret them to fit a man-centered theology. No, trust God for what He revealed, even if you can't grasp it entirely (Romans 11:33-36).
Absolutely!! The Word of God is supernatural, sanctifying, and sufficient (2 Timothy 3:16-17, John 17:17). It is our guideline as believers. If it doesn't line up with God's Word, then we should avoid it. "The Word is a lamp unto my feet, and alight unto my path" (Psalm 119:105)
Amen brother
Amen, brother; Romans 1:16. And you're so right, we need to preach the Gospel to ourselves to remind us we are saved by grace through faith (Ephesians 2:8-9).
Amen, and if I can expand on that; God must be viewed based on His attributes and what He reveals is in His sufficient scriptures (2 Timothy 3:16-17). We don't get our theology and practical application outside the scriptures.
Amen brother
Amen Brother Eric
Man, wish I could have caught this live, looks like a good one 😃

Glad you liked the live, and appreciate your support. And yes Rabbi Eduardo did his thing and handled the comments in the chat very well
Always a Q and A with the Rabbi and always deep in scripture
Ol Rabbi goes deep in the study, Glory to GOD

You got the names right, those are my homies and thats our Rabbi.🔥
You say all hispanics love their culture. Man I wish all Hispanics did love their culture. I've met a ton of people of Mexican descent here in Dallas who are fair skinned. They try to blend in with whites, refuse to teach their children Spanish, or teach their heritage, all in the name of blending in and being excreted by whites. I think it's sad as it's such a rich and beautiful culture. Our fight here is winning many of them over to Christ from catholicism. Please keep having conversations like this. I'm sharing this live. Salute to yall. ✊🏽
Oh wow, yea nobody shouldn’t be ashamed of their heritage, everyone has bad characteristics from their own culture. But we shouldn’t be ashamed or trying to do away with of who you are. Like Chicano Knox said you can be from Russia or Poland or wherever and still be proud of where you come from and teach your kids how beautiful where you come from is. And yes the main point is to call all people to Christ brother. Thank you for sharing this video bro!
@ReformedBerean I saw a huge serge of ancestral worship when the 1st Blavk Panther movie dropped in my community. To this day, I'm explaining that everything that's cultural isn't Godly. God warned us of this how many times in the Word? Love your culture, be proud of where you're from, but we are Christian first and if it goes against His ways and His word, then it has to be cut off.
@@ThatChristianFamChannel amen brother. Yea if a culture of any ethnicity is practicing unbiblical/ungodly/demonic it’s to be rejected /cut off like you said bro. It’s our fallen human natures, we have beautiful and rich cultures but they also have ungodly things in them as well. Like you said brother, the Israelites in the scriptures kept going to ungodly practices and God had to keep disciplining them to stop those practices. And when Christ returns He will do away with all things evil and ungodly and bring those who are in Him together.
