I am using pine cones to make pine cone flowers and than I paint the flower petals but I have a hard time cutting them in the middle how do you cut your pine cones

My neighbor has a few pine trees in their yard and I pick some of them up to use around the holidays and things like that . But I’m wanting to try and make some pine cone flowers with some of them but they’re so hard to cut so do you have any ideas that would make it easier for me ?

Beautiful work! My favourite was number 9, the mushrooms. But they are all great ideas! I just subscribed and can’t wait to see your other ideas! I especially love the fact that you came up with a brilliant idea for using the cones the mice had been able to get a feed from. That is true arts and crafts. I also loved your candle one, but I have to say when I recreate it, I won’t use the plastic pine branches, as I try not to use plastic and cutting it into tiny pieces that animals end up ingesting when it is thrown away. But dried pie needles might work, near the bottom so as not to catch fire when the candle is being used, maybe paint a few whole cloves to represent berries or using some rose hips or rowan berries. And mixing some essential oils into the candle wax would be great, a pine and citrus combo woukd be great for the winter holidays. Thank you so much for all the inspiration with pine cones, I am looking forward to having a good play! 🙏💖

NOTE: I've watched several of these videos and I have yet to see it mentioned how to rotate the shaft, which is very important to us that spend 99% of their time edging and not trimming. It's a pull/twist configuration of the head that is not made clear in the instructions.

What is the average run time of the included battery?

What did you paint the glass with? Turned out cute… but I would be afraid of the glass breaking in my extreme temperatures. We have had winter down to negative 30 and summers up to 112. But I could see making as a gift for my mom who lives in a state that doesn’t get snow or freezing temperatures.
