Hi girl 🫂 as a white Belgian woman I wanna say I'm so sorry of what u been true. O really am. What I gonna tell u now is not to counter or find pity or anything. I just think people in a small country as ours living so many races and colors and religions need to communicate more when there are problems. As a kid I got sexual and mentally abused from 5 till 13 by my father. I grew up in Limburg in a town with a lot of diversity . At one point I was 13 I was going home and got raped by the brother of a Muslim friend , he showed me a knife held it on my neck and told me the group guys he was with would come to all rape me if I didn't let him. I was lucky just to be raped by 1 and not 6 . I was not the only one, alot of white non Muslim girls went true the same and some more then Once. Another time I came from. Work as a 18 y old almost got pulled in car with few African. I was lucky I reacted fast pulled myself loose and run to closest house. I know girls that been pulled in cars and gang raped. Boys been gang beaten up. Even a girl raped by some whilest others held her boyfriend. Now what I think if I went on the path of hating Africans, muslims... Then it would be a visious circle of blame and hate . I been thinking, depressed along time. I choose let go, I choose to not blame a whole race, religion. Not only for myself but for others to brake the cycle. I think u have good and bad people everywhere. Racism is sadly for some still going on. Talk about it go search help, there are people that can and will help. Again I'm sorry from the hearth u had to experience that. I hope the wounds u got me mentally heal cause I know it's hard to heal. I wish u all the best and do mean this. ❤

I also experianced something like that in Brussels. I am an Indian and was on business trip to Brussels in last May. During my leisure time in the evening, I was walking through streets and asked an aged couple for direction to a station (In English), he replied with ugly expressions : " I don't speak french". I didn't understand at the moment but after reading through I came to realize that as I am dark in skin, he may have thought I was of african origin. That was dumb. :D. One another was, I saw a young couple (probably kids) high af with red deep eyes and laughing hysterically, walking past by me, pointed towards a hugh garbage dump and asked me, "Monsieur, Do you live in there ?" I can only say. Before going there, I was under impression that the city will be clean with good people. Brussels proved me wrong.

I was born in Brussels, left Belgium long time ago for the USA. It was just too small for me. Jealous people, people on antidepressants. There's still I would say 20% of loving, non racist people living in Belgium You are a strong and beautiful woman. Never give up and trust in Jesus Christ

Times change. I'm your age, and i indeed can remember that people with an other skin color were threathed as outsiders in my childhood. Nowodays my kids don't see this division anymore and have black kids as friends. So there is more and more a mixture and respect.

I remember the first Africans in our school in a Flemish village. Some kids were horrible to them, monkey sounds, bananas on their seats and stuff like that. After I went to school in Brussels and there it was totally different. They were treated as anyone else.
