HALLOWEEN SONG was originally presented as a digital download ONLY track released October 31st, 2021 to coincide with the Halloween season.
MASSACRE plans to occasionally release a new song to coincide with certain holidays from this point forwards, and those releases will more than likely appear here on Bandcamp first before eventually being released later on a physical format. A format (CD/Vinyl) which we keep to a very small limited run in order to create unique collector's items for those hard-core fans that are dedicated and supportive of the band.

Well done guys! Hard to believe that Larry and I came up with that stuff 37 years ago....never thought I'd hear another band do a cover version. Larry and I argued back and forth about my 3/4 with his 4/4 riff layered over top at the end (glad I won that debate and it ended up as it did).
haha Band arguments in garages make the best songs! Both Kam and myself traded tapes, shirts ,etc with Killjoy, truly a better time , was a lot of fun to blow this one out!
It really wasn't an argument (if I'm remembering accurately). I think I was just adamant about keeping that 3/4 chaotic groove and Larry was OK with it after I explained that he was able to retain the 4/4 riff he wanted and it would layer effectively and eventually repeat (simple but gory and demented was the feel we were aiming for). The garage was always in too big of a mess....we jammed in the bedroom that I shared with my 2 brothers. Good times indeed.

Speaking of making a demo on a boom box....that was me on my Dad's 031 Stihl doing my imitation of Leatherface outside my bedroom window while Frank was holding the boom box up and facing it out the window .....then that delay was me running around and in through the front door and sneaking into the room and getting back behind my drum kit before the 3 of us had a convulsion we called Chainsaw Lust. That would have been in '83 or '84. We couldn't stop laughing because the neighbors called and asked my Mom if someone was getting murdered with that saw. Funny shit!!
