Today we have reached a stage of affairs, where we may consider that we have reached nearly all our goals. The DMG5K is operating as it should once have been. Albeit, that we only consider: sending an audio signal tone which is being received. Bridging a distance of, say, a single meter as the transmitting energy being absorbed in a dummy-load. Two modules (Roman III and IV) are useless, as these were deliberately destructed and the other one had been changed for carrier-telephony in the early days of the German Bundespost. We start showing it functioning. Then we switch the system off and restart it again. The main power-supply HT being delayed about 12 to 15 seconds due to a delay system.

Continuing our demonstration in which the receiver module is responding at audio-tone modulation of the transmitter. Fist the audio-generator being set at 1000 Hz, then the pitch being increased to 2000Hz showing, by the way, a higher audio response.

Today the 24th of May 2024 we are receiving (bridging less than 1 m) our transmitter signal. .. We achieved to day that the receiver is operating in such a way, that it compensates the temperature related frequency drift.

Today we would like to approach our deadlock again. The motor tuning is responding, but controlling the receiver tuning by means of the discriminator does not operate. Manually we can force the tuning motor to rotate in either direction, but by no means is showing a capturing response.

Its a very clever piece of mechanism, I like how the repeater indicator aligns with the setting of the channel. I assume that the large wheel is on the shaft of the receiver's tuning capacitor, which is why all the positions are in a 180 degree segment?
Arthur, waarom geef je je video's niet een mooie titel? Dat kan ook achteraf nog! Je hebt zoveel ongelooflijk mooie, en bijzonder zeldsame apparatuur en dat kun je nu alleen maar 'via via' vinden, als mensen al weten wat er op de video staat. Met de titel kunnen mensen de video's ook vinden zonder dat ze geabboneerd zijn, wat veel helpt om kennis over de apparatuur door te geven aan de volgende generaties. Als je daar wat hulp bij wil, dan wil ik daar gerust even bij helpen.
