I have been married to a beautiful Vietnamese and i just lost her after 53 years of marriage we had no children. she was Chinese and her father was a French officer who was killed when the Viet min defeated the French. In 1971 most people were against what we were doing but we hung in there and had a great life together. Just enjoy each other as long as you can. you are a lovely couple

That Ao Dai shop gave you really good quotes. We paid 800K VND for my wife's pre-made dress at one of the shops in Soai Kình Lam fabric market, and 350K/each for our sons' at Tan Binh market. I gotta negotiate hard with the shops for those prices :D (They initially wanted 1.2M VND for my wife's dress, and 600K/ea for the kids'). Ironically, I didn't own one despite being the only Viet in the family! :D

She wanted to go back Vietnam again as she have not been back for several years now due to her knee problems. She keeps insisting I should go. I told her I will.
