We are exploring the buildings, airfields and some of the more unusual reminders left behind from WW2 and sometimes WW1 in Norfolk, UK. We will be going further afield to include Lincolnshire, Suffolk and other counties as we discover more places and structures to explore.
I started this channel recording my walks in Norfolk and Kent, I will still do this from time to time. I am quite passionate in recording these wartime sites before they are lost forever.

Cromer's wartime remains
Just along the coast from Beeston Hill are some WW2 remains sitting at the rear of Cromer on the North Norfolk coast. Nestling in the hills in the area of Howard's Hill are the remnants of some structures built to protect the coast during WW2.

Another trip to the coast, this time to Beeston Hill between Cromer and Sheringham to visit a WW2 'Y' station remains. Sitting on top of 'Beeston on the Bump' is the foundations of the original building.

Welcome to my latest video concerning WW2 in Norfolk, this time we are at Admiralty Point, Ongar Hill near Clenchwarton in the Wash. It isn't too bad to get to as you can reach it on the left side of the car park, not the way we went! Take care as the main tower is becoming unsafe, enjoy the video!

This is my first video I have shot using my new DJI Osmo Action 4! This is a short video that I filmed on my way to Beeston Regis to film a Y Station location. This pillbox was also used during WW2.

This 'short' is the only uploadable footage as we couldn't find the Kings Lynn battery when we arrived at our destination. This also marks my 100 subscribers landmark, it's only taken 8 years but thanks to all my subscribers who have stuck with me. The battery video will follow shortly as we now know where to go!

During WW2 it was a gunnery range for The Royal Tank Regiment, in this video we look at 2 Covenantor tanks that were left behind after the war. Welcome to my first video in 2024, it was shot back in October last year. It is a whistle stop tour so you get a brief overview of the airfields of North Norfolk. We visited Little Snoring, West Raynham, Great Massingham, Sculthorpe, Docking, Bircham Newton and Langham. Lancaster HK773 memorial and crash site Mundford, Norfolk. UK

Today we visit the site of the last operational loss of a Lancaster bomber from RAF Mildenhall in WW2. Rather remote it can be difficult to find but well worth the visit. It is just off the A1065 between Brandon and Mundford.
