Limitless - Visually Impaired Tennis
It is hard to imagine what life looks like for disable? Jack is born with visually impairment, but this has not limit his ability - in fact he is studying a PHD in computer and mathematics at University of Derby. Outside of academic, Jack plays Visually Impaired Tennis (Officially Name as Blind Tennis) weekly at the Nottingham Tennis Centre.
VI tennis was originated by a blind Japanese in 1984 who was passionate in making tennis accessible to the VI community. He was sadly passed away in 2011, but his effort has not been wasted. VI tennis is now being played in over 30 countries and it was first introduced in the UK back in 2006 by the Japanese. In the last couple of years, the number of VI tennis players has been continuously growing.
After 6 months of filming, this film documentary on visually impaired tennis is finally released. Thank you Jack, his family, coach, friends and the visually impaired tennis community for helping along side this production. Hopefully this film has help growing this sport and increase its exposure.

I'm an artist and on the fence about what I want to do now that I am thru grandmothering! i love watercolor the most but am a packrat over all kinds of stuff after teaching children , TOUCHED I am now reading about the spiritual meaning of colour..never mentioned in college art program. my favorite books are many but now some out of print or very expensive Marie-Laure Valandro and her inspiration from author Liane Collot D'Herbois. So your base is from your own photos, your own original work,.... That's great, and safe to prevent any kind of copy write from others work.... But what I really wanted to ask about was.... If you use cut outs from magazines... How do you keep that archival, or from fading, or the back from coming through to the front? I'm all about archival, and I think... It's so important that your work holds up over time.... No one likes to work long and hard on their art only to come to it a year later and find it fading and falling apart. Any thoughts, ideas???
Magazines fade! - so I now frame all originals with museum grade glass. Giclee prints on the other hand will outlast most of us!

Your work is great. I was always told that collage doesn’t sell, but after 3 years i have recently had interest in my collages. I dont use magazines, but paint my own papers. I have since moved on to other art/mixed media.

If contact paper only has one side adhesive, how do you put your papers on the contact? Is it two sided adhesive? What is the brand?
