I have a pl12 motor works fine but I have a lot of noise when I connect it to the speakers any idea why? I changed the cables, I connected gnd, changed outlets, rotated the power cord on outlet. Does the earth wire needs to be connected to the outlet wire?

No surprise there are still PL-12D's out there. They made and sold SO many of these tables between 1973 and 1975...they were the Toyota Camry of turntables. When you walked into Pacific Stereo in California, they would have these stacked up at the door. Buy a Receiver and speakers, get the $99.00 PL-12D for free...

I love this TT. My only problem is I can hear the motor through my speakers. I already took it apart and and cleaned it and lubed it but it's still noticable. My only guess is I have to replace the foam inside

I've known Carvin since I was 11 years old saw him at First Round Draft with my parents, my Uncle Dave was his best friend. Good times. I'm 41 now.

I watched this man play in mid 90's. At a restaurant/club in Tempe Arizona. He was good then. I imagine he is excellent by now.

I think I was about 15, maybe 16? when I saw Jimmy C and the Blues Dragons at the Beaverwood Club. Great player and clearly he just loved what he did. Was really sad to hear of his passing. Rest in peace Sir.

Got the 2020 Megane GT line on my shortlist for my next motor, I'll be testing the system on the test drive, I imagine the sound system can be upgraded at a proper car HiFi centre.

I saw him twice in Belgium around 2010, he is unbelievable, a incredible showman that likes to be on stage !!!

Inherited the Pioneer PL-120 in good condition too, but it runs a tad over 33/3 and 45, new belt too, cleaned the capstan with Isopropyl Alcohol and it hasn't altered at all. Is there a screw or something to tweak the belt speeds? Be a shame not to have it playing again.
