It took me months before I realized it was actually showing on screen and thankfully got to see it on the last day of showing. I was definitely happy that I finally got to watch Deadpool and Wolverine. The last Deadpool movie I watched years back was good but at that time, I wasn't as used to watching blood and gore in an action-comedy Marvel flick(couldn't stomach much of that then). But after years of watching similar Movies, it kinda grows on you and I can appreciate dark humor more. This movie was the sum total of the tremendous work of people who put in so much attention to detail(must beThe Devil character whose name I'd rather not summon in this review, being in it, lol), that I even stayed until the end credits and got to view a bonus clip where Deadpool ( Ryan Reynolds) shows audio-visual recording of the nasty things Johnny Storm (Chris Evans) said about Cassandra Nova (Emma Corin) as proof of why he had to die and may I safely quote:
" Cassandra Nova, a megalomaniacal, psychotic, ***hol*. A finger-licking, dead inside, pixie slab of third-rate, dime-store nut milk. And I'll tell you what she can do: She can lick my goddamn cinnamon ring clean and kick rocks all the way to bald hell."
Which Johnny Storm audaciously said, perhaps with good reason, but, it's Deadpool's sense of right and wrong, which often goes bloody wrong, like what happened to Nicepool who was conveniently sacrificed as, spoiler, a human-shield.
But enough of spoilers.
Both action heroes, if we could call them that, were brilliant with every showdown and let-down scenes. I am just super impressed with Hugh Jackman and his acting, and he is mostly the reason why I had to watch this movie. The phenomenal work-outs some of these actors are admirable, Hugh in this movie, definitely outdid the character. My other favorite actors and actress appeared as well, which was awesome, but to keep this review shorter than intended, I really enjoyed this movie. It may take me a while to write an "educated review", but I think there are far better reviewers out there, so I'll give it a momentary pass. Didn't need a barf bag in the end, which was a relief.
I would have loved to post clips that I enjoyed watching, but I would rather not risk any copyright infringement. i always thought of myself better as a quiet fan, but fans should be more engaging and say what they feel about their favorite characters so here it is.
I am winging this review for my friends and people who liked the Movie.
