you know the 4e-fte exists, 135hp stock... add some more boost and you get a lot more... add even more boost and you get like 250hp and a piston space program... xD

Whats the turbo size
Just got my dyno results back today. Running 0.6 bar of boost at 128 bhp but 211 NM of torque. I wonder why there is so much difference between our builds. Mine is run on a full standalone ECU. Our manifolds are very different. I believe there is a lot of turbulence in my manifolds and that’s why my power is limited🤷♂️ Awsome video!
hello i know this is a old message but i currently have the Toyota A132L transmission 3 speed up to 120 nm of torque output so should i go with the ct9 or the td04L
Can't help but notice you didn't mention any fuel system upgrades but you have a really nice AFR when on boost. Whats the fuel systrem looking like?

My daily drive is a 4efe turbo on my 94 corolla. I would suggest anyone who wants a 4efe turbo to get 4efte piston,map sensor,ecu,injectors,headcyclinder and a good ct9

Ben van plan om van de zomer m'n Starlet te turbo'en. Welke turbo kit heb je besteld? Kan hem niet vinden op Ali en de link in eerdere reacties geeft geen gevonden item. En vanaf hoeveel rpm is de TD04 ongeveer op full boost? Alvast bedankt

@@VollgasSimmen Intercooler als hele kit van ebay. Radiateur is een double core van fullcartuning.com en injectoren 2e hands gekocht. 250cc komen uit een 4age dacht ik.

@@VollgasSimmen Ik heb uiteindelijk de standaard uitlaatpakking er weer tussen gezet toen was die helemaal dicht. De pakking die word meegestuurd komt niet goed overeen met het blok, dus sloot die niet goed af. Voor de rest zijn alle pakkingen die meekomen voor de turbo en downpipe prima

Ben van plan om ook een starslet te halen maar is het mogelijk om 200pk te halen met wat meer aanpassingen dan turbo intercooler etc
Als je 200pk wilt kun je denk ik het best een starlet glanza kopen, die is standaard met turbo en heeft 135pk. Daarmee kun je de druk wel iets verder opvoeren omdat die een blok heeft gemaakt voor turbo met dikke drijfstangen en lagere compressie zuigers.

Hey man, just bought the same turbo kit. What amount do I need to extend the turbo mount and what amount do I need to extend the 4 pipes. Why did it not fit as is? Are you using the stock MAP sensor? Fuel pump? Fuel pressure regulator? So when you ran it on the dyno, how did you adjust boost with no Ecu since you mentioned the fuel pressure regulator does nothing?
I extended the turbo mount and the four pipes both with 65mm. It didn’t fit because the turbo was too close to the block. There was no room for the pipes going to the intercooler without touching the block. Also the turbo came against the oil filter as i remember and there was no room for the air filter because of the power steering pump. Yes map sensor and fuelpump are stock On boost the larger injectors from 250cc are large enough keep the mixture rich enough. So run after run we gave it a little bit more boost and because we where on the rich side, the mixture was still rich enough with that 0,55 bar. If youre going to higher boost a fpr is then necessary i think This setup is not ideal, because at idling the ecu cannot compensate enough for the bigger injectors so its running also a bit rich there. But fine for this setup, only thing is that the car is a little bit more uneconomical than it could be I think. Good luck with your build man!!!
I have a starlet gs from 1996, 85HP in stock. What do youu think? Can i turbo the stock engine with ebay turbo kit?
Yes I think it will be fine on low boost. What engine is in your car? If your running low boost like me so around 0,5bar I think it will be fine, i’m driving 11.000kms now without any issues. Keep an eye on the air/fuel ratio. Best way is to put the car on the dyno to make sure there’s no detonation. I’m not sure if its necessary but ive switched to a higher octane fuel, which is better resistant against detonation

Nee is nog helemaal origineel en staat ook nog precies hetzelfde als hoe die stond voor de turbo

Hoi, ik heb ook deze turbo kit gekocht en het past bij mij ook niet zo super als bij jouw dus vroeg ik mij af wat een beetje de maten zijn die je hebt gebruikt bij het spruitstuk om die wat te verlengen? En heb je nog wat meer tips met welke injectoren je hebt gebruikt en aanpassingen met drukregelaars?
Poeh ik weet zo niet uit het hoofd die maten meer sorry. Ik heb 250cc injectoren ook van een Toyota, weet niet precies welk type maar volgensmij een 4AGE als ik het goed heb. Die brandstofdrukregelaar heb ik er wel opzitten maar op een of andere manier doet die helemaal niks, daar kwamen we achter bij het afstellen. Dus in principe voor deze druk heb je die niet eens perse nodig. Denk wel dat die handig is bij hogere turbodruk.

Ik heb zelf een p8 en zou er graag een turbo opbouwen. Zou dat ongeveer op dezelfde manier kunnen? En waren de totaalkosten van dit project?
Zeker! Ik rij er nu al 11000km mee zonder problemen. Denk dat ik zon beetje 1000 euro kwijt was voor alles. Turbo en intercooler enzo wel van aliexpress maar het doet er niet minder om tot nu toe
Verder tank ik nu euro 98 die brandstof heeft een iets hoger octaangehalte en daarmee heb je iets minder snel kans op detoneren. Of het perse nodig is weet ik niet maar ik blijf het tanken want zo gaat het goed.
En verder niks aan het motorblok zelf gedaan?

What wire for the fcd please I can’t find anything online
You have to find the wire from the intake manifold pressure sensor. That wire must go into the fcd and the wire out of the fcd goes to the ecu the fcd manipulates values from the intake manifold pressure sensor.

@@TheLeakyyy sorry dont know exactly what you mean try search for a diagram on internet. The only thing you need to do is to interrupt the pressure sensor cable with the fcd, connect 12v and ground cable good luck
what ecu and map? we done that with fuel cut defencer and pushing more gas in with fuel pressure regulator and tune it only with wideband on our e10 corolla but it isn’t optimal😁 thanks
Stock ecu, yes I did it also with FCD and bigger injectors. It works pretty good when the turbo is on boost.. AFR around 12. But when the car runs stationary its a little bit rich but I dont really care. For this low budget setup it works fine!

How did the stock 4efe engine hold boost ? Have you had any problems later on ?
The 4efe holds it pretty good! running for 8000 kilometers now. No issues at all
