I strongly disagree that squirrels can't make good pets! I've argued for years that they should be domesticated. More than 9 times out of 10 they will choose to stay with us. Or they'll come back to us.

I remember going to see them in Colombia. Everybody had binoculars like birdwatching. Even from 30 feet away the binoculars helped, if you could keep up with them. They were of course adorable.
