Does anyone know how to help me with my xj61997? What is the correct oil for the engine? The alarm, even though it is set and beeping, the light comes on but it still does not lock the doors. And locking the key locks all the doors. The radio turns on normally but there is no sound coming from the speaker. I've tried everything and nothing has resolved it.

Alguém sabe me ajudar com meu xj6? Qual o óleo correto para o motor? O alarme, mesmo configurando e fazendo o bip, a luz acende mas mesmo assim não trava as portas. E trancando na chave ele tranca todas as portas. O rádio liga normalmente mas não sai som no autofalante. Já tentei tudo e nada resolveu

Wow -- I wish! I've been at my center vent for a half-hour now. Have managed to break all four posts that hold the bezel to the vent-body, broken the bezel backing into four pieces, and still cannot get the upper-left clip on the vent body to let go! :/

Are there bulbs under the gear shift indicator plate? (3:09) In my 91 XJ6, the indicators are a dim red. If so, it looks like star screw to access it.

Thanks for the vid. I have the same radio on my '97 Jag XK8, and the backlight doesn't light up anymore. Do you know if the bulbs are accessible (so I can replace them)? I saw another helpful vid where the Jag owner changed bulbs of the Climate Control Panel above radio, but the radio itself here at 7:16 looks pretty "secure". Any thoughts?

I was looking for this option, but I´m glad I did not end up with it.I have the manually adjustable steering column.It took me a week(!) until I found out that the lenght adjustment is on the right side of the column and its not only adjustable in height.

I can’t take off the damn sport button.

Great video. One of the best how-to's I've seen. At 1:20, that trim piece... How does it go back in? Those tabs appear to interfere with the thumb-screw posts underneath. The trim piece in my Jag was already broken when I took it out. Thank you for taking the trouble to produce this fine instructional video.

My Jaguar looks the same, remote control is the same but do no have the Valet button. Any other tip for programming the remote ? Thanks

I can not get this to work but looks like others have any help please ?? I press the valet button 5 times and get the beep, press the fob button not beep, after about 15 secones it beeps again (( as if it's timed) just put new battery in the FOB still the same ANY TIPS ?? (its a ebay fob didnt come with the car but seller claims it to be the correct one. Anything I can check to see if it's the correct fob ?(looks the same)

Tried this on my X300 and the one on the video must of already been loose or warn. You can see the two metal tabs on the top of the center vent. Idealy you would need to slide somthing in to flatten these tabs so the unit can be slid out freely , with out damaging the plastic mounts in the dash.

Why does it have do ( D ) modes? I have the same on mine but it does not mater witch (D) i leave it in. I have a XJ6 sport. 1995
