I had lots of browser tabs open when I ran across this. Took me a while to figure out that the annoying voices where coming from this video too. aaarg! Skip MP w/ the commentary unless you just want to hear his self-deprecating remarks, and you enjoy DVD voiceover commentaries, etc. (Some dvd commentaries are good, but most a bad because the people are doing them for money/contract reasons, not because the they have lots to say.)

Michael Powers' show at the Moore was truely one of the best concerts I've seen in years. Contemporary & original jazz blended with gritty blues had everyone on their feet. Great work with the band, it was obvious they like Michael and enjoyed the gig as much as the audience. Michael is one of Seattle's gifted original musicians. Kate in Seattle

Michaels gritty tribute style of blues is 100% original yet has a spirit of Stevie Ray & Jimi woven into the tunes. The contemporary jazz can't be beat. Michael is a great original Seattle artist.
