Oh, OP 10 is really fun, but half of the arc is not filler, in fact, it is one of the most emotional arcs in Naruto Shippuuden. Given the context of the arc and the moment Japan was in at the time it was released, Pierrot opted for a lighter, sillier opening. There's a lot about parental relationships, friendship, and "grief" in this arc, which is why the opening is funnier.

Something interesting about boruto, the story starts very light and becomes much heavier and more serious compared to shippuden, in addition the focus of boruto is to explore the bad side of the characters as most of them are unforgivable and need to die, unlike naruto that villains were antagonists who fought for their own good causes.

So, Oingo Boingo brothers are a reference to the homonym band (while they're name was changed to Zenyatta and Mondatta in the adaptation for copyright, which is a Police song). They have a canon spin-off manga based on their adventure with the style of Boingo's book Tohth (his stand, which is the egypt god of writing, while Oingo's stand Khnum is the egypt god of modelling and creation). In the spin off manga, there a scene with a guy who has a shirt with 911 written on it, and a plane is flying in the sky: I'm not saying anything but this part was written in 1989, so Araki kinda predicted the 9/11 lol. Did you see the oingo boingo special ending version? 4:57 remember this scene 👀The 2 users that were possessed by Anubis (the god of death) are called Chaka and Khan, referencing the singer Chaka Khan. Fun fact: in the jojo videogame "heritage for the future" (which deals with the story of part 3), there's a special ending if the gamer completes the story mode with Chaka, and since Anubis gets stronger after each battle, in this version Chaka kills everyone, even Dio, and even the player itself.
