Cat food - Camera trap footage
I left out some cat food, hoping to feed an old stray cat, however I mostly fed slugs and caught some other visitors to the spot, including a random man.

Hita mate, does the dam release? Or is this just usual levels? I'm wondering how much water it would need to kayak!
That's just normal levels. Although it's not ideal for kayaking. It's a steep gorge at the get out and a bit of a hassle to get boats up I would imagine. Also most of the falls are quite dangerous/narrow or rocky to paddle down anyway. I kayak myself and have thought about routes you could take, but I think it's not worth the hassle for all the little of it that would be actually viable to paddle. Great for canyoning or gorge walking. There is a siphon in there though so I would advise going with a guide who knows where it is and can keep you clear of it.
