I know bass plays major third for that walking bassline. Maybe that chord should be called Gm6Maj3 😃

@@LovePeaceBass I don't know. I went back and listened to the record. I think he plays the Bb. But what do I know? For years I thought that Gm6 was a diminished 7th chord!

This song is in the key of G major. At first I thought that would be Rick doing some fancy stuff then I realized that Roger wrote the whole thing without the collaboration of the others. I think Gdim would be G#dim for A major scale. A minor scale has the second note as Bdim

The bass had very little tone and the amp was a digital one from the Logic Pro app, tbh I don’t remember which amp I used. But I think the main thing that contributed to that sound was the very old strings I had on the bass at that time 🤘

It is. It has a huge range of sounds. I went to a Metallica concert that Pantera opened for them and Rex played couple of songs on this bass and I said to myself I gotta have it 😃
