@mully133 donegal were playing smarter football by working the ball up Dublin didnt have a clue and hoofed it in to bernard brogan and they're was three dublin players marking one donegal forward and he got the better of all thrre

Over the years of the last decade, I often discussed Donegal's best Championship game. Ones that were mentioned were the stoppage time comeback against Dublin in 2002, Shane Carr's dramatic block against Galway in 2003, pumping Tyrone in 2004, the controversial Cassidy goal against Armagh in 2007 or the win over Galway in 2009. But this tops them all. In a year too where we beat Tyrone after looking well beaten ourselves and won an Ulster.

@MegaDoc16 no we tried to play football which was very difficult when there was 14 men at all times in your own half, also would like to point out the time wasting, injury feigning and the dive for connollys red card which was also pointed out by the sunday game panel, and yes there is a population of a million but there are alot of sports that dublin are very competitive in.

i was at the match the day,, dublin were brilliant but the hunger and intensity of donegal should carry them threw.. although this is the dubs best chance,, maybe they can take it as they were very unluky last year

@lennkop yea in fairness impressive tyrone never got out of the blocks but donegal have dispensed of tyrone already this year and facing the dubs in there home ground is a big challenge for any team but dublin wont get that much time and space against donegal they have the best defenceive record in the championship and will give the dubs a real game

at the end of the day kildare couldnt score points from play ur precious johnny doyle couldnt kick snow of a rope on the day an 8 of ur points came from dead balls and use still could not stop donegal even with ur rugby tactics in the second half of extra time use were beat by a better team accept it and move on to choke in croker again next year

@KingOfRiddles2 Tyrone and Armagh were every bit as negative as Donegal. Dont you remember the 03 and 05 championships? Tyrone played 12 men behind the ball the same way we do. If all we can do is invite teams to attack us, how have we outscored and won every game to date? We will see how it goes in the next few weeks but i really cant see Donegal getting a bad beating, especially from Dublin

Yes, the ref could have given Kildare that final attack since they were half way up the pitch when he blow it up and he robbed us of a goal But as a Kildare man, the team threw this away and didn't deserve to win. There was a period between the 55th and 65th minutes when Kildare won the ball about 10 times in a row on defence and then went up the field and lost it with a bad pass. Also, taking Tomas O'Connor off after the disallowed goal? Bullshit. Finally throwing away a 4pt lead in extra time
