@@s3nTer I race in VR and the lights in my room went out bc my wife turned them off on accident so my headset completely lost tracking and I couldn’t see. Didn’t take off my headset after losing tracking to realize that had happened until a few seconds in to stopping bc I expected it to come back. Tried to do the best I could while blind by not slamming on the brakes so people had some time. I definitely got lucky

It’s the iRacing Live Timing overlay from SDK Gaming, it’s about $10/month but I only use it for videos. I don’t think there’s any overlay that works with VR to my knowledge unfortunately

@@MeisterTomGaming Thanks for your answer. The overlays you use are nice thanks for the info. By the way, after time spent trying, I managed to make Racelab overlays work in VR.

@@LIONELFOURNILLON oh cool, I’ll have to check that out. I like having no HUD in VR for the immersion but I’ll at least keep relative up on the black box

Sorry, replied from my personal account. No problem! I'm running just a display capture source on my ultrawide to capture the whole window w/ my video output as 1920x1080 and my OBS base resolution as 3440x1440. If that doesn't answer it all I can provide additional details

@@MeisterTomGaming thanks! It’s hilarious we have almost identical setups. I have an ultrawide as well but use VR. I will try display capture. I think my hangup has been switching to Win11 and I get the process focus bug.

@@JonCarrigan Lol I even bought two 27" 2K monitors at first when I was starting w/ simracing to have a triple monitor setup w/ the ultrawide in the middle but after putting on the headset once I can never go back. It's a different game, but yeah if you switch to display capture and just capture your entire monitor it should work. I have issues doing it any other way.

Idk about you but it's pretty easy to tell that a few of these clips are within the same match but regardless I don't see what would be so bad about having a bunch of quick scopes from different matches

I wouldn't call it a quick scope myself but if someone did I would just assume they were misinformed as to the definition of "quick scope". I don't think it's safe to say we can judge someone's skill at a game based on what they deem a "quick scope".
