Nikon D7500 Photography | GOPRO HERO 11 FOOTAGE
Переглядів 171Рік тому
I was bored at home and decided to go out for a drive with my camera. I cruised through the CA 155 STATE HWY and took photos with my Nikon D7500. This was my first time doing anything like this, but it was fun and I plan on doing more. Hopefully they get better each time! All of the footage was shot on the GOPRO HERO 11 BLACK and the photos were taken on the Nikon D7500. Follow me on IG to see ...

I shot this footage on a little Canon Powershot and thought it would go well with this music.

This looks awesome! How did you approach focusing with the non-reflex model? Everything looks sharp. I just bought one so any tips are appreciated!
I open the lens all the way to focus, so that I can clearly see through the view finder, and then set the aperture when I'm ready to shoot. It's a fun camera to use! Hope you've been enjoying it!
FINALLY! Somebody put the Miles Davis over the film footage... thank you!
3rd is georgous!!!
What are you using to capture audio?
Really nice views and compositions. Thanks for sharing. I've shot one short film with my Bolex. If you can get a good lens and expose the film with the right lighting, you can get 2K resolution that will rival any HD video. Plus, the colors and dynamic range on Kodak film, when properly developed and scanned, beats almost every digital cinema camera out there. IMO, film offers the best color and light balance.
Are you measuring or guessing on the focus? This looks great!
Very clean images! good job
Thanks !
16mm is more interesting that 35mm. Did you meter for your shots? or rough guess it?
this looks nice 👍🏿
Thanks !
Nice video ❤
Thanks !
Hi, what camera did you shoot this in?
Nikon D7500
Hey, any important takeaways from your experience using this camera? About to shoot with the same camera and film stock at night specifically.
I've only shot it a couple times so I can't really say, but last time I shot it was in low light conditions and it was tricky to get focus on the subject because the viewfinder is pretty dim on my camera. If it's the same for you I would recommend opening up the lens all the way, and shining some light on the subject just to make you're in focus, then depending on how lit you want the shot, you can shut off the lights and close the lens before you shoot. Have fun though and link me what you shoot! I love watching bolex footage.
@@bryantorresart Thank you, take care!
😮
Where did you get this developed?
Spectra film and video in North Hollywood
this is so well done!!! I'm rn doing a lot of research on Bolex H16 camera, could I use your footage for a later video where I try to explain everything i found about them in a video (plus footage, lenses ect)? :)
Great footage man, keep up the great work! I did a quick color grade on your footage, hope you dig it: ua-cam.com/video/5T3ZhVVHqxA/v-deo.html
Im guessing you did the grade bc it appears to be shot without a daylight filter?
Really stunning
cool. i like it. thanks for checking out my vids also. keep up the good work.
