Stamps and postcards are considered works of art under copyright law. By selling scans of them you are violating the law.

I would like to make a friendly tip as a stamp collector. In your particular case, there is nothing particular valuable in this purchase. However, if in future you get another lot of stamps and you are unsure of their value, avoid handling them with your hands. Use stamp tongs, if you have them (do not use tweezers from your medicine cabinet). Find someone who knows stamps to give them a quick review. Sometimes collections from estates are fun collections that are not worth much and others can hold some very, very valuable surprises. Mishandling can cost you money.
