The trailer looks nice, and Rachel Zegler does look like Snow White despite having tan skin, but I'm not sure if they will honor the original storyline😬 preparing for disappointment

They won't...sadly.
considering Zegler billed it as... a modernization where they don't even need Prince Charming... holding on to the original storyline might not be in the cards. Also the leaked trailer where instead of her singing to the animals as they cleaned up the dwarves house for them... now shes singing to the dwarves... being boss girl telling them to clean their own house so its suitable for their new houseguest.

You are correct. The themes were consistent and included exploitative behavior of infected & obsessive minds. It was so deep in some places that I had to watch a few episodes and a lot of scenes a second time before moving on. Can't wait to see the same character next season.

Hey Josh, you're totally right! There was no boat scene. We only assumed they would have needed a boat to get off the island so we just posed the question of how that would've been possible without the skills. Presumably Slater could have helped them escape while under the spell of the perfume.
