New Jersey thrash metal band, Overkill, discuss their experiences on the Metal Hammer Roadshow tour. The tour bill included Anthrax (NYC) and Agent Steel (Los Angeles); the tour took place throughout Germany from early to mid-May 1986.

On August 15, 1984, New Jersey thrash metal band Overkill appeared on "Rock Pipeline", a New York City cable music TV program. This segment features vocalist Bobby Blitz, bassist and founding member D.D. Verni, ex-guitarist Bobby Gustafson, and ex-drummer and founding member Rat Skates. This lineup appeared on their first two albums, "Feel the Fire" (1985) and "Taking Over" (1987).
Anthrax - What's Up Dr. Ruth? (1989)

The first episode of Dr. Ruth's spinoff television series, What's Up Dr. Ruth?, featured the New York thrash metal band Anthax. The episode aired on June 10, 1989, and featured four out of the five band member's mothers, a (first) wife, and a girlfriend. Note: A clip of Anthrax's 1987 music video, Indians, was included in the episode (removed for copyright purposes).
