Isn’t “Madame” the equivalent of “Lady”?

This video does not say where the real Dead Man's curve is. Going west, I always assumed that it's the right curve just past Whittier. The song's lyric "He passed me at Doheny and then started to swerve, and suddenly there we were at Dead Man's curve" seems to indicate that the curve is the first sharp curve on Sunset past Doheny. This seems to be the first real sharp turn on Sunset. If it's not here, other candidates seem to be the 135 degree curve just past Delfern (which feels too wide to be labelled as deadly), or maybe some of the turns near the Beverly Glen junction. I also heard that the turn may be on Sunset just north of UCLA, but these turns do not feel particularly deadly. Maybe at higher speed they are since some of the curves go over the tops of hills. So this video tells us that that the curve near the accident is not the curve in the song, but it does not tell us where the actual curve is.

Thanks, my dad worked with them in the 70s and 80s.. its very moving seeing this. My dad passed away a few years back. We lived in Stinson Beach and there was certainly jamming going on there too. My dad wasnt super close to them but I do recall hearing music coming from this place as well. I only really remember Ramrod, I was young.
