Swan Valley Lake is already a fantastic carp fishing lake and it is well known for its large head of monster carp. However we plan to take the fishery to the next level in the winter of 2020 - 2021 by netting the lakes and separating the match bay by way of a net under the bridge. Any fish under 15lb or other species such as tench, will go into the match bay along will a select few larger fish....

What's this about a massive tench I heard
There were several tench over 8lb when we netted and we know of at least one double figure fish that's been caught by an angler but escaped the net this time. With the weed and lake contours it's impossible to get every single fish.
Gutted I missed this :(
