So jealous! We were forced to DFW from Kansas and I’m not from either place. I hate DFW and Kansas is my favorite place I’ve lived. Couldn’t as for a nicer group of people! Kansans are so great and I love the snow. My algorithm is really mean showing me this video. So jealous.

I actually lived in the house right behind the house behind you in the beginning. I lived there from about 2018-end of 2020. Really cool to see all the parts of this neighborhood again instead of going on google earth or something like that. I have no idea whether you lived in that same neighborhood when me my parents and younger brother lived there but I remember those plants and a young boy who played with my brother outside all the time. Cool place and once again thanks for this video.

I think we missed a lot in Hakone! You definitely stayed in a more interesting place than in Gora where we stayed. 😅Also, I didn’t know there was a hands on museum up at the top!! The kids would have loved that. 😂 oh well.

Interesting! And your vlog is cool, though please let me suggest having more tranquil music on the car rides, as well as sound modulation to match the sound level of the rest of the video. Or talk over (VO) the ride, since you have a nice, calm, voice... perfect for vlogging, as well as being informative! Your voice without background music was perfect (with no competing media)! On that note, you actually have a screen persona that would be good for the enjoyable side of living in Japan, and/or vlogging about your family life in Japan. I think your vlog will get big, with a few tweaks, so keep up the good work! Anyway, I'm very interested in what you said about being an ALT, because I'm looking into being either a private tutor in Japan or an ALT (or both). So here's something you might be able to tell me about! I'm a 72 year old American man; I've taught English in South Korea and in Thailand; and I wonder whether or not in Japan they would hire someone my age. Actually I'm athletic and I still like to play baseball. So I don't fit that stereotypical view that some people have of older men! I could even coach baseball, or simply play baseball with the locals, while teaching English in Japan. I actually played baseball with my college students in Korea; and in Thailand I taught my high school students (the girls as well as the boys) about baseball; we played catch, and had batting practice, after school. Anyway, what do you think about the powers that be, in Japan, hiring a 72 year old? The Japanese people do love baseball ⚾ including baseball players! 😃 I'm a new subscriber to your channel!
