Officially the South African Boer goat is white with a brown head. Then there is the Kalahari Red which is a separate breed. All these other colours mainly originate from US but they would not pass the criteria set by the South African Boer Goat Breeders Association. I am a Boer which means an Afrikaans Farmer from SA but now living in Kabankalan

May natanong akong breeder kung bakit walang dappled color sa South African Boer ( South Africa kung saan naoriginate ang Boer goat) ,ang sagot nya , once nabreed out ang isang traits di n yan lalabas except kung ibreed in uli, kung walang lumalabas n dappled color s place ng origin at may lumabas sa ibang lugar, mag isip isip na😊.
In US, Colored Boers and Dappled Boers are accepted. Even the Reigning ABGA Champion Buck Blackstone is a Solid Black Boer
