Hey, It is a really great video, but can you send me the 2D drawings so i can try it on my own? Or the source that you worked from?

at 9:58 i noticed the left loft is higher than the right one although according to the dimensions it shouldn't be on my attempt it looked lower than the video (as it should be according to the dimensions given) so I tried adding 10 making the height of the sketch 64.5 instead of 54.5 thinking it might be a typo turned out identical to the video

Before i start doing it i want to ask can motion analysis and stress analysis be done on this engine?

Tried to build this in Onshape. That was difficult because everyting is different. Now drawing it in Solidworks. It's great practice and nice you figured out the dimisions. But overall a really great project.

For the ones struggling with the sweep, I made the sketch, the guideline and made another sketch looking similar to the end face and used the loft command. It is a bit odd making it but works completely fine

Please help! The ball joint does not fit, could you confirm the length of the external metric thread? Is it 60mm?

what v12 engine is this?

at 6:55, for some reason, when I try an select that circle as the edge for the direction of the circular pattern, it won't let me select it... only to find out, IT ONLY LETS ME SELECT STRAIGHT LINES FOR A CIRCULAR PATTERN. edit: I got it working now. Once I deleted the lofted base then redid that and the cut loft, Solidworks suddenly decided that circular edges are in fact a valid axis, something that should have been the case to begin with...

Do you have the suspension coordinates?

Watch till 6:08 first. Use the dimesions on sketch 1 to get the proper profile. Then delete them. The sweep will build. Then Build the rectangle on the bottom. After that, go back and add the dimensions to the first sketch. Notice on the left in the timeline, the dash for sketch 1. That means sketch is not defined. That's the part I missed. After I figured that out, it all worked.

Thank you so much sir for your detailed videos regarding the v 12 engine model . I created components using CATIA software so that i can learn that software, but it was very difficult because i cannot directly copy what you were doing in the solid works software, but still I manged to comeplete it with CATIA . Regarding the Assembly workspace I could not achieve it in CATIA due to its complexity ,so i had to use solidworks and i managed to complete the Model and i am very happy not only due to modeling I could also learn about the components in engine. Thank you .
