Mia Nova hat ursprünglich klassische Violine studiert, bevor sie musikalisch ganz neue Wege ging. Sie ist die Geigerin der Band Russkaja, die seit Jahren internationale Erfolge feiert und in Österreich vielen aus der ORF-Late Night Show "Willkommen Österreich" mit dem Moderatoren-Duo Stermann und Grissemann bekannt ist.
Seit einigen Jahren verfolgt Mia Nova auch ihre Soloprojekte. Dabei improvisiert sie virtuos zu House, Electronic und Dance-Music und tritt damit in Clubs und Discos, bei Festivals oder Gala-Events auf. Mia Nova bewegt sich in allen Genres und ist damit wohl eine der vielseitigsten Geigerinnen Österreichs.
Ihre erste Single „Amber“ ist bereits veröffentlicht und hat es auf Anhieb in die Top 50 der deutschen Dance-Downloads Charts geschafft.
