We are a new faith community of First United Methodist Ormond Beach.
Our mission is to gather differently, welcome everybody, and love abundantly so all people may encounter God and neighbor in meaningful ways. We are committed to the belief that the body of Christ is not a building, but a people. Therefore, we gather in innovative ways to create cultures of belonging and authenticity.

Giving Tuesday
Giving financially to The Gathering Place means making ministry and mission happen.
Things like:
- The Easter Egg Hunt with Westside Elementary School
- Helping us move into a bigger space to reach more people
- Providing assistance to folks in need in our community
- Sending kids to summer camp at Warren W. Willis
- Teacher/Staff appreciation breakfasts for Westside
- Feeding veterans at Barracks of Hope on Maundy Thursday
- Meaningful and unique worship experiences like Kayaks & Communion and Carols at Tango’s
- Supporting Residing Hope (formerly Florida United Methodist Children’s Home)
And so much more!! Your gifts make a difference.
Help us reach our goal of $75,000 by the end of the year - we’re so close! With $15,000 to go, we are so grateful for your giving to supporting this church, our mission, and our neighbors.
