@minionbrian9000 ye it was ordered for the route on a new contract in 2016 from HK, then it got moved to AW in 2018(?) for the 385, in exchange of DAS1 and DAS2 (now 36037 and 36038 respectively). 36325 then moved from TB to HK for the W5 in August 2022 after HCT collapsed. July 2024 marked the W5's move to AW and the route's electrification, using Switch Metrocity EVs. after that, 37720 has worked the W5 a lot of times as rare workings.

@@thenorthlondonbusguy Yeah I hate how TUK do so many rail replacements now, it's so annoying seeing LTs and electrics on a rail replacement! I get that they don't have many diesel DDs now but it's still a shame. And yeah that driver was very confused, although I don't blame him! He had to do a 3 point turn after missing the sign for Chorleywood! And on the way back, we were going in the direction of Uxbridge!!! A passenger told the driver where to go though, which is a shame as it would be hillarious if we ended up there.

Yes, they were allocated to route W3 in 2012 from the now-closed Lee Valley garage. After Lee Valley garage closed, the Enviro400s were moved to Wood Green garage. In 2024, Wright Gemini 3s from Edmonton, Clapton and Brixton garages were moved over to Wood Green garage to act as the new allocation for route W3, with the Enviro400s being moved to Edmonton garage for route 217 and rail replacement services. After that, some Enviro400s were moved to Grays garage for route 370, in exchange for some Wright Gemini 2s.

Yes, it does serve Finsbury Park, but it doesn’t serve any of the bus stations. Towards Golders Green, it stops at Rock Street. Towards Stamford Hill, it stops at Finsbury Park / Blackstock Road.

it is quite interesting for its original allocation to work the route! W5 is never going to be double deck for numerous reasons, including: 1. Narrow roads 2. Tight turns 3. Low bridge on Stanhope Road
