@@leonelendruw6982 She got a prophecy, in the game she got it from the Norns, I think, that foretold that Baldur would die. So she tried to prevent that by making him invulnerable to all things, physical and magical. In mythology she does so by going around and making absolutely every living thing and inanimate object swear an oath to never harm Baldur. It's just the mistletoe she forgetts about. All gods immediately trie out Baldur's invulnerability by throwing all kinds of things at him. It was Loki that persuaded Baldur's blind brother to throw a mistletoe at him, killing him (which is as logical as Achilles dying from an arrow to his heel). So it is a typical selffullfilling prophecy, that comes to pass exactly because one tries to prevent it, like most prophecies in myths are. It's kinda similar in the game, it even is loki who makes him vulnerable with the mistletoe.

Maybe that's the case but either way, the combo is done the way the game wants me to be done.

I bet top dollar that's Freya's spell, no one would call that level of invulnerability a blessing, except Freya.

​@@estebanrosa8635Like someone said, this particular wording may have been the key to Kratos' discovery. And Kratos might have been able to read "Cursed" on Baldur when they first fought. My reason for this is when he overheard Faye's tales to Atreus, he picked up a few words here and there, and considering Baldur's most well known trait, is is likely cursed could have slipped in there. My theory, but supportive.

That is 100% a curse. He cannot die, and he cannot enjoy life either.

Right? I can't imagine the torment of not feeling anything, it's almost like being dead in life. Freya thought she was protecting Baldur but she plunged him into madness.
